Is the 2024 Audi A4 a good car?

The 2024 Audi A4 stands out as a well-rounded compact luxury sedan with a strong mix of efficiency, technology, and everyday usability. It offers two 2.0-liter turbocharged engines, and the more efficient version is EPA-rated at 27 miles per gallon in the city, 37 mpg on the highway, and 31 mpg combined. If you want more performance, you can look for the stronger engine, and if traction matters, quattro all-wheel drive remained optional with most variants. Audi’s Virtual Cockpit also adds appeal by replacing the standard instrument cluster gauges with a fully digital display.

That combination makes the A4 a sensible fit if you want a premium sedan that balances efficiency, available performance, and useful tech. 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Audi A4 reliable?

The 2024 Audi A4 stands out as a well-rounded compact luxury sedan with a strong mix of efficiency, technology, and everyday usability. Its appeal comes from a balanced package rather than any single standout trait: efficient powertrain options, available quattro all-wheel drive, and a cabin that leans into convenience and digital tech.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about condition, maintenance history, and how the car was driven than about the model’s basic formula. A well-kept example should be easier to live with than one that has been neglected or heavily used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi A4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the engine, electronics, and all-wheel-drive system if equipped. Focus on cabin condition and feature operation as well, since the A4’s appeal depends heavily on its tech and interior presentation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 614 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,111, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $26,111 sits slightly below last year's $30,674.

That price movement suggests the A4 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it also means resale value will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the car is equipped. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than higher-mileage or lightly equipped cars.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.88% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the latest version of this generation and you value a broad mix of efficiency, tech, and everyday usability. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may offer a similar ownership experience at a lower asking price, so it’s worth comparing condition, mileage, and equipment before you decide.
