Used 2024 Acura TLX for Sale nearCoeur D Alene, ID

How much does the 2024 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 6.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 593 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX a good car?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns an expert rating of 7.33/10.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

You’re looking at a sports sedan that leans hard into style and driving enjoyment, with a handsome new grille, bigger screens, and either a turbocharged four-cylinder or a turbo V6 in the Type S. The trade-offs are clear: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the technology can be unintuitive. That makes it a strong fit if you want a budget-minded performance sedan and can live with some practicality compromises.

Only 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than flooded with bargains.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX reliable?

The 2024 Acura TLX comes across as a well-equipped, safety-forward sedan with a strong warranty and a clear emphasis on performance. Acura’s standard equipment list is broad, and the car’s overall setup suggests a premium ownership experience rather than a stripped-down one.

The performance hardware is substantial, especially in Type S form, and the model’s six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty adds some reassurance for used buyers. The standard equipment and the brand’s positioning also point to a car that should feel solid over time.

If you’re buying used, the biggest long-term risk is that a performance-focused luxury sedan can be more expensive to keep satisfying once wear items and electronics age.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Acura TLX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean title alone doesn’t tell you how the car was maintained or repaired. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the interior electronics, driver-assistance features, and any signs of hard use, since this model’s tech and performance focus make condition especially important. Pay close attention to whether the car feels consistent in daily driving, not just quick on a test drive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Technology Package is the entry point, the A-Spec Package adds a more aggressive look and standard SH-AWD, and the Type S brings the most performance-focused hardware and visual upgrades. The base trim is gone, so feature content starts higher than before.
• Powertrain: The Technology Package and A-Spec use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, while the Type S uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch center screen, dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, a wireless charging pad, and Amazon Alexa built in.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the available data.

Which 2024 Acura TLX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Acura TLX is offered in 3 trim levels: Technology Package, A-Spec Package, and Type S.

Here's the short version:

• Technology Package: This is the entry point, and it makes the most sense if you want the lowest starting price and the core TLX experience without paying for the sportiest extras.
• A-Spec Package: This is the best-value trim if you want a stronger mix of style and capability, since it adds SH-AWD and keeps the TLX’s performance-first character intact.
• Type S: This is the one to buy if you want the full performance story, with the turbo V6, the most aggressive hardware, and the most dramatic driving experience.

AcuraWatch is standard across the lineup, so you’re not giving up the core safety suite by staying out of the top trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Acura TLX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a steal.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 593 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.24% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,946, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $36,897 sits slightly below last year's $39,355.

That price movement suggests the TLX has softened enough to help you buy in at a more favorable point. If you sell later, you may not see the same level of pricing strength unless demand for sporty luxury sedans improves. For now, the trend favors buyers more than sellers.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX safe?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns five-star ratings overall from NHTSA and a top score of Good in all IIHS tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch comes standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert. That means you get a broad driver-assistance suite without needing to step up to a higher trim.

One caveat is that the infotainment setup can be distracting to use, especially when running phone projection, so the car’s safety hardware is stronger than its interface ergonomics.

Should I buy a 2024 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.24% compared with last year.
• It adds a handsome new grille and bigger screens while keeping the performance-first character intact.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,118, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,897 average.
• It balances style, driving enjoyment, and comfort.

The bottom line: If you want the newer look, updated screens, and a stronger safety-and-tech package, the 2024 is the better pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up the refresh, the 2023 is the smarter value play.
