Used 2023 Toyota Supra for Sale nearTampa, FL

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra a good car?

The 2023 Toyota Supra earns a 7.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

That score lines up with what you get from the car’s core mission: a balanced, precise sports coupe that becomes more engaging for 2023 thanks to the newly available manual transmission. The Supra’s sharp steering, strong handling, and available six-cylinder engine make it especially appealing if you want a car that feels involving rather than just quick.

The trade-offs are real, though. Advanced safety features are not standard, and the car can suffer from buffeting when the windows are open.

With 28.9% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra reliable?

The 2023 Toyota Supra is presented as a well-engineered sports car with standard safety equipment and a strong factory maintenance plan. ToyotaCare includes a 2-year, 25,000-mile complimentary maintenance plan, which helps reduce early ownership hassle.

Its performance hardware is described as precise and rewarding, and the manual-transmission setup is called short, easy, and precise to use. The six-cylinder engine is also described as one of the most enjoyable performance engines on the market, which supports the sense that the car is built to deliver a polished driving experience.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Supra’s performance focus and tight packaging can make any neglected example more expensive to live with.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a sports car where hard use is more likely. Focus on overall condition, signs of modification, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower trims are described as more basic inside, while the 3.0 Premium and A91 trim level can be outfitted with a more upscale hazelnut leather interior. The base 2.0 also has a smaller four-speaker stereo, while the 3.0 gets a better audio setup.
• Powertrain: The 2.0 trim uses a 255-horsepower four-cylinder, while the upgrade engine is a 382-horsepower turbocharged six-cylinder. The manual transmission is offered for 2023, but not with the 2.0.
• Safety package: Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, stability control, traction control, and brake assist are standard. Adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic emergency braking are available on the 3.0 Premium and A91 trim level.
• Infotainment: The 2.0 uses an 8.8-inch touchscreen with a four-speaker stereo, while the 3.0 adds a 10-speaker system. The 3.0 Premium and A91 add navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad, and a 12-speaker JBL stereo.
• Fuel efficiency: The automatic-equipped six-cylinder model is rated at 22 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined, while the manual six-cylinder model is rated at 19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined.

Which 2023 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota Supra is offered in 4 trim levels: 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 Premium, A91.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0: This is the entry point, but it is the least compelling choice if you want the full Supra experience. It gets the 255-horsepower four-cylinder and the simpler infotainment setup, and it does not get the manual transmission. It makes sense only if you want the lowest-priced way into the nameplate.
• 3.0: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it brings the stronger six-cylinder engine and the more satisfying 10-speaker stereo. If you want the core Supra character without stretching to the pricier trims, this is the one to target.
• 3.0 Premium: This is the trim to choose if you want the most complete everyday experience. It adds the richer tech and convenience equipment, including navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, a wireless charging pad, and the 12-speaker JBL stereo, plus the available driver-assistance upgrades.
• A91: This is the most upscale version in the lineup, with the same premium equipment path as the 3.0 Premium and the option for the more distinctive hazelnut leather interior. It suits you if you want the most special-feeling Supra rather than the best value.

Advanced safety features are not standard on every trim, so pay close attention to the equipment list if that matters to you.

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra safe?

The 2023 Toyota Supra earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, stability control, traction control, and brake assist are standard on every Supra. Toyota also offers adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic emergency braking on the 3.0 Premium and A91 trim level.

A key caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard across the lineup, so you should verify the exact equipment on any used example you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• The manual transmission finally arrives, making the Supra more engaging for enthusiasts.

Consider the 2022 if:

• It offers the same core Supra performance formula with a lower entry price.

The bottom line: If you want the most engaging version of this generation, the 2023 is the one to prioritize because the manual transmission changes the car’s personality in a meaningful way. If your main goal is to spend less and you do not care about the stick shift, the 2022 remains the simpler value play.
