Used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla for Sale nearLongmont, CO

How much does the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla cost?

Prices are up 3.19% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 206 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla a good car?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is a strong pick if you want a performance-focused hatchback that still works as an everyday car, and its 3.67/5 user rating and 7.33/10 expert rating show that it lands well with shoppers who value speed and practicality together.

The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Safety.

Toyota’s Gazoo Racing tuning gives you a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, standard all-wheel drive, and a package that’s built around lively handling and everyday hatchback usefulness. The trade-offs are real, though: the design is polarizing and the car is noisy, so it fits you best if you want something expressive rather than quiet or understated.

With 34.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla reliable?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is presented as a brand-new performance hatch with Toyota’s usual emphasis on safety and driver assistance, and its expert notes point to a car that’s engineered to be durable enough for spirited use.

The performance notes emphasize a rigid chassis, a manual transmission with rev-matching, and standard all-wheel drive, all of which suggest a mechanically serious setup rather than a fragile one. Toyota also includes a suite of standard driver-assistance features, which adds confidence for daily use.

The cost-effectiveness notes also mention that the GR Corolla requires premium fuel, so your running costs will be higher than a standard Corolla’s. For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is that a car built for hard driving may have seen more aggressive use than a typical commuter hatch.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, and pay close attention to signs of hard use, especially on a performance hatchback that may have been driven enthusiastically. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and whether the car shows wear that matches its mileage and age.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Core trim is the most accessible version, while the Circuit and Morizo add more aggressive hardware and visual distinction. The base trim gets the core GR Corolla formula, but the higher trims add features and performance-focused upgrades that make them more specialized.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 300 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque in Core and Circuit trims, while the Morizo increases torque to 295 lb-ft. A six-speed manual is the only transmission, and all-wheel drive is standard.
• Safety package: Toyota includes a standard suite with automatic emergency braking, lane-departure assist with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, and road-sign assistance. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera with parking aid lines are also standard.
• Infotainment: The cabin gets an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, dual-device Bluetooth connectivity, and a 12.3-inch driver information display. An eight-speaker JBL stereo is available on the Core and Circuit trims but not on the Morizo.
• Fuel efficiency: The GR Corolla requires premium fuel, and the performance notes do not provide an MPG figure.

Which 2023 Toyota GR Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is offered in 3 trim levels: Core, Circuit Edition, and Morizo Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Core: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the GR Corolla experience without paying for the more specialized hardware in the higher trims. You still get the core performance formula, standard all-wheel drive, and the full safety suite.
• Circuit Edition: This is the sweet spot if you want more performance hardware than the Core but don’t want to jump all the way to the Morizo. It adds limited-slip differentials and other upgrades, and the source material calls it the true Goldilocks value play.
• Morizo Edition: This is the most extreme version, with more torque, stiffer underpinnings, a rear-seat delete, and track-focused hardware. It makes the most sense if you’re prioritizing maximum performance and can live with the compromises.

Toyota’s standard safety package is included across the lineup, so you don’t need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 206 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.19% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 92.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,601, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $36,959 sits slightly above last year's $35,816.

That upward move suggests the GR Corolla is holding demand well for a used performance hatch. If you buy one and keep it in strong condition, you’re starting from a price point that has already shown resilience rather than sharp depreciation.

For a future seller, that means well-kept examples should remain attractive to enthusiasts, especially if they have clean history and desirable trim equipment. The strongest resale prospects will likely go to cars that show careful ownership and avoid signs of heavy track-style use.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla safe?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota equips it with a standard suite of driver assistance features that includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure assist with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, and road-sign assistance. It also comes with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera with parking aid lines, plus ten airbags.

Because this is a brand-new vehicle in the source material, there are no crash-test ratings to cite here. Even so, the standard safety equipment is unusually comprehensive for a manual-transmission performance hatch.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota GR Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.19% year-over-year.
• The expert summary highlights this year as the debut of the all-new GR Corolla with a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, standard all-wheel drive, and a bold hot-hatch character.

The bottom line: If you want the first-year GR Corolla experience with the full performance-and-practicality formula, the 2023 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and focus on clean, well-maintained examples rather than chasing the newest or most expensive trim.
