How much does the 2023 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 5,885 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Generally — the 4.3/5 user rating points to a well-liked compact car with broad appeal. The overview describes it as a practical model with more style and desirability than recent Corolla versions, plus a wider lineup that includes sedan and hatchback body styles, a hybrid sedan, and the GR Corolla hatchback. That mix makes it especially appealing if you want an easy-to-live-with compact car that still offers some personality and choice. 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance to find value.

Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview emphasizes that the Corolla is well engineered and built to last, with a reputation for reliability reinforced by strong dependability results. It also keeps the Corolla formula focused on competence and everyday usability rather than flash. For used buyers, that usually means lower long-term ownership risk if you choose a well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because even a strong clean-history share does not guarantee the specific car you’re considering is accident-free. Put inspection priority on overall condition, especially signs of uneven wear, poor repairs, or neglected maintenance. Focus on how the car presents inside and out, since a practical commuter like this should feel consistently cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,885 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,153, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $20,105 sits slightly below last year's $20,115.

That small decline suggests the Corolla has been holding value in a fairly stable way rather than swinging sharply up or down. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to predictable demand and less volatility. The model’s broad appeal and practical reputation should continue to support interest from used-car shoppers.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $18,403, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $20,105 average.
• It offers a familiar, versatile Corolla formula with multiple body styles and powertrain choices.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around mix of style, equipment, and market support, the 2023 is the better primary pick. If your main goal is to spend less and you’re comfortable with an older, more familiar setup, the 2022 is the better price-sensitive alternative.
