Is the 2023 Tesla Model 3 a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.86/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. The feedback highlights impressive performance, stylish design, and the cost-saving advantages of electric driving. It also fits well if you want a compact electric sedan that feels responsive, modern, and more tech-forward than a conventional car. Is the 2023 Tesla Model 3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.86/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels reliable, dependable, and appealing for long-term ownership thanks to its strong performance and electric-driving simplicity. That said, you should still think about how the car was used and maintained, because used EV ownership risk often comes down to condition, software behavior, and prior care rather than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Tesla Model 3?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks overall condition and any signs of prior damage or repair. Pay close attention to cabin condition, panel fit, and how the car presents in person, since owner feedback mentions durability and space concerns. If possible, test the car in the exact way you plan to use it so you can judge whether it feels right for your daily routine.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Tesla Model 3?

• Inventory: There are 2,120 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 7.65% year-over-year.

What is the 2023 Tesla Model 3's resale value?

The current average of $27,965 sits slightly above last year's $25,977.

That upward move suggests the market still values this model year, which can help support resale strength if you buy carefully and keep the car in good condition. Because demand remains healthy and inventory is active, a well-kept example should stay relatively easy to position when you decide to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.86/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Tesla Model 3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 7.65% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.86/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current market demand, and a modern EV driving experience, the 2023 is the primary year to target. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best condition and lowest out-the-door cost, especially if you can find a cleaner example at a better price.
