Used 2023 RAM 3500 for Sale nearDallas, TX

How much does the 2023 RAM 3500 cost?

Prices have softened 4.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,311 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of trucks to compare.

Is the 2023 RAM 3500 a good car?

Generally — the 2023 RAM 3500 earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction for a heavy-duty truck. The overview shows why: you get serious towing and payload capability, a more upscale interior, and available tech such as a 12-inch vertical infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, and adaptive cruise control. It also fits buyers who want a work-capable truck that still feels comfortable enough for daily driving, though its size can be cumbersome in towns and cities. The market also shows 32.1% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a truck built around strength and capability, with a stronger frame, new suspension, and a refreshed 2023 setup that added a digital cluster, an upgraded camera system, and a trailer reverse steering system. That combination points to a model designed to handle demanding use while still offering modern convenience. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic usefulness and more about whether a heavily worked truck has been maintained well and used within its limits.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 RAM 3500?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on signs of heavy towing, commercial use, or uneven wear that could hint at hard service. Because this truck is large and capability-focused, condition matters as much as mileage, so pay close attention to the suspension, brakes, tires, and overall cabin wear. If possible, test the truck in the kind of driving you plan to do most, since size and maneuverability are important parts of the ownership experience.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 RAM 3500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,311 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.53% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $54,303, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $54,303 sits slightly below last year's $56,881.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can make the truck more attractive to used buyers today but slightly less favorable for sellers trying to maximize return. Even so, a model with strong capability and broad appeal can still hold demand well if it has the right configuration and condition. Trucks that have been maintained carefully and show clean history tend to be easier to resell when you are ready to move on.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a strong choice if you want the refreshed features and a market that still offers decent deal potential. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby older year may be worth a look, but the 2023 gives you a compelling mix of capability, comfort, and current-market value.
