Used 2023 Porsche Taycan for Sale nearSarasota, FL

How much does the 2023 Porsche Taycan cost?

Prices have softened 3.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 452 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Porsche Taycan a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Porsche Taycan earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It delivers the kind of performance you expect from Porsche, while also being more versatile and affordable than many buyers might assume. It’s also described as fun to drive and comfortable, which makes it appealing if you want an EV that still feels usable every day. The main trade-off is that its range is merely average, so it fits you best if driving character matters more than maximum efficiency.

Only 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2023 Porsche Taycan reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Taycan is presented as a well-built EV with strong construction and premium materials, and it’s described as a car that feels solid and polished in daily use. Its performance-oriented engineering also supports confidence in how it drives and charges, especially with battery preconditioning helping you get the most from DC fast charging. The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that range is only average, so you should make sure the car’s real-world battery performance still fits your routine.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche Taycan?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a used EV where battery condition and charging behavior matter. Focus on how the car has been used, whether it has been regularly charged at home or relied on frequent DC fast charging, and whether the battery still performs consistently in everyday driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Taycan’s body styles broaden its appeal, and the Cross Turismo models add a rear hatch for extra convenience and a more wagon-like profile. The Sport Turismo has a lower ride height. Base cars are more stripped down on the tech and safety side than better-equipped versions.
• Powertrain: The base Taycan uses a single rear motor, while the Taycan 4 adds a front motor for AWD. Output rises with the larger battery and higher trims, and the dual-motor setup is the better fit if you want stronger all-weather traction and more effortless acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and front and rear parking sensors. Blind-spot monitors and a surround-view camera come with the Premium package, while adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and remote parking are part of the Technology package.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a native navigation system, wireless charging, and a curved digital instrument panel. The screen is a bit small and sits low enough to require a reach.
• Range & charging: The base sedan is estimated at 208 miles of range, while the larger battery can reach 242 miles. DC fast charging can go as high as 270 kW and can take the larger battery from five percent to 80 percent in as little as 23 minutes. Home charging on a 220-volt station takes 10.5 hours from empty to full.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, confirm whether the car has mostly seen home charging or frequent DC fast charging, and review how much of the battery warranty remains. A clean charging history and stable real-world range matter more than odometer miles alone.

Which 2023 Porsche Taycan trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche Taycan is offered in 1 trim level: Taycan.

Here's the short version:

The Taycan is the right pick if you want the core Porsche EV experience without chasing a more expensive variant. It delivers the brand’s performance character, strong build quality, and everyday usability, and it’s the best fit if you value the standard sedan format and want to keep pricing closer to the lower end of the lineup.

The standard Taycan is the trim to focus on if you want the most accessible entry point into the model and are comfortable with the base rear-motor setup and standard equipment. If you want more traction, more power, or more body-style versatility, you’ll need to look at higher-spec versions, but the base car still captures the Taycan’s essential appeal.

The standard safety package includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and front and rear parking sensors.

What is the 2023 Porsche Taycan's resale value?

The current average of $77,897 sits slightly below last year's $80,541.

That price movement suggests the Taycan has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer now but may also mean future sellers need to price competitively. If you buy at the right number and keep the car in strong condition, you’ll be better positioned to limit depreciation pressure later. The model’s premium image and strong enthusiast appeal should still help support demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Taycan or consider a different year?

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It stands out for being versatile and affordable for a Porsche EV, while still delivering the brand’s performance-first character.

The bottom line: The 2023 Taycan is the better choice if you want a used Porsche EV with strong driving appeal, solid build quality, and a market that has eased a bit from last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 remains a compelling sweet spot for shoppers who care most about performance and everyday livability.
