Used 2023 Porsche Panamera for Sale near Virginia

How much does the 2023 Porsche Panamera cost?

Prices have softened 9.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 362 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera a good car?

Yes — you get a 5/5 user rating and a 6.7/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal for shoppers who want a luxury performance car with real everyday usability. The Panamera stands out because it blends Porsche sports-car styling cues with the practicality of a four-door grand tourer, and it is offered in multiple body styles and drivetrains. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The trade-offs are clear: brake pedal feel on winding roads is a concern, the Bose audio system is unimpressive, and performance value for the money is not especially strong. Even so, the car’s mix of comfort, cargo space, and driving enjoyment makes it a strong fit if you want something special without giving up daily usefulness.

With 31.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The Panamera’s appeal is reinforced by its solid engineering, high-quality construction, and well-rounded mix of performance and practicality. It is also described as easy to live with in daily driving, with a powertrain that feels meticulously engineered and a cabin that stays quiet and composed at speed.

The model’s maintenance story is helped by the fact that the first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium performance car can become expensive to own if prior maintenance was skipped or if wear items were neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche Panamera?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car with performance-oriented hardware and optional equipment. Focus on brake feel, infotainment operation, and whether the car’s comfort and driver-assistance features work as expected. If you are comparing examples, pay close attention to condition and equipment level, since the Panamera’s appeal can change a lot with trim and options.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard Panamera, Panamera Executive, and Panamera Sport Turismo give you different body styles, and the Platinum Edition adds exclusive detailing, unique 21-inch wheels, a sport exhaust system, and a Premium Package. The base setup is the simplest version, while the Platinum Edition adds more comfort and convenience equipment.
• Powertrain: The base twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 makes 325 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available.
• Safety package: Adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, and parking sensors are included. An available Assistance Package adds a head-up display, a surround-view camera, and Porsche InnoDrive with Traffic Jam Assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch center touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless smartphone charger. The system also includes connected services such as online navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a car finder function, and vehicle tracking.
• Fuel efficiency: The base model is rated at 20 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 19.3 mpg on a mixed route.

Which 2023 Porsche Panamera trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera is offered in 3 trim levels: Panamera, Panamera Executive, and Panamera Sport Turismo.

Here's the short version:

• Panamera: This is the trim to start with if you want the core Panamera experience with the standard body style and the base twin-turbo V6. It gives you the essential blend of comfort, performance, and everyday usability without pushing you into the pricier special-spec territory.
• Panamera Executive: Choose this if you want the extended-wheelbase version and more rear-seat space. It makes the most sense if passenger comfort matters more to you than the standard body style.
• Panamera Sport Turismo: This is the best fit if you want the wagon-style body and the most cargo-friendly version of the lineup. It suits you best if practicality is a priority and you still want the Panamera’s driving character.

Adaptive cruise control is newly standard on all 2023 Panameras, so you do not need to step up a trim just to get that feature.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Panamera?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 362 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $81,251, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Panamera's resale value?

The current average of $81,254 sits slightly below last year's $90,011.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you as a buyer now but may temper what you can expect later as a seller. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation. The Panamera’s broad appeal as a practical luxury performance car should help support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera safe?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Porsche equips it with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, and parking sensors. You can also add an Assistance Package with a head-up display, a surround-view camera, and Porsche InnoDrive with Traffic Jam Assist. One caveat is that the lane-departure warning system can struggle to distinguish pavement seams from lane markings, and the lane-keeping assist can intervene abruptly when it decides you are not paying close attention.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year’s key highlight is that adaptive cruise control is standard instead of optional.

The 2023 is a smart choice if you want the Panamera’s blend of practicality, comfort, and driving enjoyment while taking advantage of softer pricing. If you are especially price-sensitive, a well-kept earlier example may still make sense, but the 2023’s standard adaptive cruise control gives it a useful edge.
