How much does the 2023 Porsche Panamera cost?

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated car with an expert rating of 6.67/10. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The 2023 Panamera’s appeal comes from its blend of Porsche sports-car styling cues and four-door grand-touring practicality. It’s also offered in three body styles and multiple drivetrains, so you can tailor it more than many luxury performance cars. For you, that means it can work as an everyday luxury car without giving up the special feel you’d expect from a Porsche.

The trade-offs are real, though: brake pedal feel on winding roads is a concern, the Bose audio system is unimpressive, and its performance value for the money is not especially strong.

With 29.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s at least some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Panamera is described as a well-rounded package with strong everyday usability, and the expert evaluation emphasizes its quality, rewarding driving dynamics, and impressive technology. Its powertrain is also praised as a terrific example of a dual-clutch automatic setup, with decisive shift action and a generally polished driving experience.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is that ownership costs can be high, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche Panamera?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car with performance hardware and premium options. Focus on brake condition, tire wear, and whether the car’s equipment matches the listing, since this model can vary a lot by body style and drivetrain. It’s also worth checking that the technology and driver-assistance features work as expected, because the Panamera’s appeal depends heavily on its everyday usability.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard Panamera, Panamera Executive, and Panamera Sport Turismo each bring different body styles and packaging, and the Platinum Edition adds exclusive detailing, unique 21-inch wheels, a sport exhaust system, and a Premium Package with 14-way power front seats, heated rear seats, four-zone climate control, Bose audio, adaptive LED headlights, and blind-spot monitoring.
• Powertrain: The base setup uses a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 with 325 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed PDK transmission; rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, and parking sensors. An available Assistance Package adds a head-up display, surround-view camera, and Porsche InnoDrive with Traffic Jam Assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch center touchscreen with Porsche Communication Management, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L, Connect Plus services, and a wireless smartphone charger.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the base setup should return 20 mpg in combined driving, and the test car averaged 19.3 mpg.

Which 2023 Porsche Panamera trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera is offered in 3 trim levels: Panamera, Panamera Executive, and Panamera Sport Turismo.

Here's the short version:

• Panamera: This is the one to start with if you want the core Panamera experience in the standard body style. It gives you the base twin-turbo V6, rear-wheel drive, and the same fundamental blend of performance and practicality that defines the model.
• Panamera Executive: Choose this if you want the extended-wheelbase version and more rear-seat-oriented packaging. It’s the better fit if passenger comfort matters more to you than keeping the car as compact as possible.
• Panamera Sport Turismo: Pick this if you want the wagon-style body and the extra utility that comes with it. It’s the most practical-looking option in the lineup and suits you best if cargo flexibility is a priority.

Adaptive cruise control is standard across the 2023 lineup, which is a useful safety and convenience upgrade.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Panamera?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 338 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.51% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $81,965, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Panamera's resale value?

The current average of $81,965 sits slightly below last year's $90,579.

That kind of price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than assuming the car will hold its value just because it’s a Porsche.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera safe?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera earns five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Porsche equips the Panamera Platinum Edition with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, and parking sensors. An available Assistance Package adds a head-up display, a surround-view camera, and Porsche InnoDrive with Traffic Jam Assist, which pairs adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assistance for highway and traffic use.

There are a couple of caveats to keep in mind: the lane-departure warning system can struggle to distinguish pavement seams from lane markings, and the lane-keeping assist can intervene abruptly when it decides you’re not paying enough attention.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year’s key update is that adaptive cruise control is standard instead of optional.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a smart pick if you want the Panamera’s blend of performance, practicality, and standard adaptive cruise control without paying for the newest redesign. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the softened market and decent deal availability make this a good year to shop carefully and negotiate.
