How much does the 2023 Kia Seltos cost?

There are 2,416 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2023 Seltos stands out as a subcompact crossover that feels larger than its footprint, with generous passenger and cargo space for the class, a premium-leaning interior, and a refined driving character. It also fits well if you want a compact SUV with practical packaging, intuitive controls, and a bit more personality than many rivals.

38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful share of market-friendly options to consider.

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Seltos emphasizes practical packaging, intuitive controls, and a refined chassis, which are the kinds of traits that usually make daily ownership easier. Its cabin is also designed to feel more substantial than you might expect in this segment, which can help it age well in everyday use.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a vehicle that has been worn harder than its mileage suggests, so condition matters a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia Seltos?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough inspection of the cabin, drivetrain behavior, and overall maintenance evidence. Pay close attention to signs of noise, transmission smoothness, and whether the vehicle feels as refined as it should on a test drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Seltos?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you have room to shop carefully without rushing.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,416 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.01% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,874, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Seltos's resale value?

The current average of $19,874 sits slightly below last year's $21,145.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited. If you plan to sell later, the current pricing trend points to a model that should remain accessible to used shoppers rather than one that is rapidly appreciating.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia Seltos or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $17,670, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $19,874 average.
• It adds more available driver-assist tech and a Nightfall Edition.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,990, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $19,874 average.
• It adds refreshed styling and updated technology.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced mix of value, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If price is your top priority, the 2022 is the smarter path; if you want newer styling and tech, the 2024 is worth the extra spend.
