How much does the 2023 Kia K5 cost?

Prices have softened 6.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,449 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Kia K5 earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its great value, advanced technology, wireless charging, and smooth ride. The K5 also fits well if you want a stylish midsize sedan with a practical trunk and a modern-feeling cabin. With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with praise for the K5’s smooth ride and strong value. That said, some owners mention concerns about storage space, ride quality, and fuel economy, so you should weigh comfort and efficiency against the features you want. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a car that has been driven hard or maintained inconsistently, so condition matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia K5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the car’s accident record, maintenance history, and title status. After that, focus on a thorough inspection of the ride quality, interior condition, and any signs of wear that could affect daily use. Because some owners mention a bumpy ride and limited storage, it’s worth checking whether the specific car still feels comfortable and practical to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia K5?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing softness to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,449 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.18% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,637, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia K5's resale value?

The current average of $22,700 sits slightly below last year's $24,195.

That price movement suggests the K5 has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stays steady. A lower current entry price can also make the car easier to move later, especially if you buy well and keep mileage and condition in check. Strong feature content and broad shopper appeal can help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia K5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,913, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,700 average.
• It offers strong value with a stylish design and good safety ratings.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $24,939, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,700 average.
• It adds standard heated seats on GT-Line.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best fit if you want a balanced mix of value, features, and current-market pricing. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the smarter path; if you want to pay more for newer features, the 2024 is the alternative to compare.
