How much does the 2023 Kia K5 cost?

Prices have softened 7.25% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,441 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Kia K5 earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid overall satisfaction. Drivers most often praise its great value, advanced technology, and smooth ride, with wireless charging and a modern feature set standing out. That lines up well with its role as a stylish midsize sedan that blends everyday usability with a distinctive design and practical trunk space. With 31.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with drivers highlighting the K5’s smooth ride and overall value. The same feedback also suggests some buyers have concerns about storage space, ride quality on certain roads, and fuel economy, so you should weigh those tradeoffs against the car’s strengths. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but condition and maintenance history still matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia K5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a clean history report and confirm the car has not had hidden damage or repeated repairs. A thorough pre-purchase inspection is especially important if the listing has higher mileage, larger wheels, or signs of uneven tire wear. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and how the car drives, since those details can tell you more than the listing photos alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia K5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,441 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.25% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,274, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia K5's resale value?

The current average of $22,274 sits slightly below last year's $24,015.

That price movement suggests the K5 has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it’s time to sell. Demand should also benefit from the model’s strong value reputation and broad feature set.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia K5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,725, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,274 average.
• It offers a redesigned, value-focused package with added convenience features.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $24,792, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,274 average.
• It adds standard heated seats on GT-Line and more standard safety equipment.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want a strong mix of value, features, and market availability. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the smarter budget path; if you want newer features and can pay more, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
