Used 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L for Sale nearPhiladelphia, PA

How much does the 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L cost?

Prices have softened 18.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 562 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L a good car?

The 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L earns a 7.2/10 expert rating.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

You get a full-size luxury SUV with an extended-length body, a decadently outfitted cabin, and strong utility for passengers and cargo. It also brings a powerful engine and a comfortable ride, which fits the way you’d likely use a vehicle this size.

The trade-offs are clear: the price is high, turbo lag is mentioned, and the tech user experience is described as dissatisfying.

39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L reliable?

The 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L is presented as a well-equipped luxury SUV with standard four-wheel drive and a broad set of comfort and capability features, which supports confidence in day-to-day use.

Its powertrain is described as smooth, quiet, and refined once underway, and the vehicle is portrayed as capable of covering long distances comfortably. The performance notes also point to a more efficient new engine family than the V8 it replaces in most versions, which is a positive sign for ownership efficiency.

Jeep also includes a Client Services package, which adds a helpful ownership perk on top of the standard equipment.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a complex, high-end SUV like this can be expensive to live with if you want to keep everything working as intended.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper history review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on electronics, ride quality, and any signs of wear in a vehicle this large and complex. Pay close attention to how the tech interfaces behave, since the user experience is a known weak point.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes a base model, a Series II, and a Series III, with Obsidian available on the Series II and Series III. The base version is the entry point, while the higher trims add more luxury equipment and a more upscale presentation.
• Powertrain: You get a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with 510 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard four-wheel drive. The engine is smooth and refined, but there is noticeable delay in off-the-line response.
• Safety package: Active Driving Assist pairs adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and Active Lane Management, but it is not a hands-free system. The vehicle also includes Intersection Collision Assist, Night Vision with pedestrian and animal detection, and automatic parking.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, along with wireless charging, navigation, Amazon Alexa integration, SiriusXM, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The Grand Wagoneer L averaged 17.1 mpg in testing, and Jeep says the official combined estimate is 17 mpg.

Which 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L trim should I buy?

The 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L is offered in 4 trim levels: base model, Series II, Series III, and Obsidian.

Here's the short version:

• base model: This is the entry point if you want the Grand Wagoneer L experience without moving up the ladder, but the higher trims are where the luxury presentation really comes together.
• Series II: This is the trim to watch if you want a strong balance of equipment and value, since it sits above the base model without jumping all the way to the top.
• Series III: This is the most luxurious and fully equipped version described here, and it is the best fit if you want the richest cabin and the most complete feature set.
• Obsidian: This version adds a blacked-out appearance on Series II and Series III, so it makes sense if you want a darker look layered onto an already upscale trim.

The safety content notes that Active Driving Assist is not hands-free, so if that feature matters to you, you should factor that into your trim decision.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 562 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.62% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $48,420, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L's resale value?

The current average of $48,420 sits slightly below last year's $59,497.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get in at a lower entry price. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Because the year-round range runs up to $59,480, well-kept examples with desirable equipment can still command stronger pricing. If you buy carefully now, you may be better positioned later than someone who pays too close to the top of the range.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L safe?

The 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Jeep loads the Grand Wagoneer L up with standard and available safety features, including Intersection Collision Assist, Night Vision with pedestrian and animal detection, and automatic parking for parallel and perpendicular spaces. Active Driving Assist is useful, but it requires you to keep your hands on the wheel and does not offer hands-free highway driving.

That missing hands-free capability is the main safety-related caveat to keep in mind if you’re comparing it with rivals that offer that feature.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.62% compared with last year.
• The 2023 stands out for its powerful engine, upscale cabin, and strong full-size luxury-SUV presence.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of luxury, capability, and current market softness, the 2023 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you can keep shopping for a lower-priced listing, but you should be more selective about condition and equipment.
