How much does the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 7.80% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,980 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

The overview shows a midsize SUV that blends Jeep capability with a more premium feel than many mainstream rivals. It also gives you a wide trim range, from practical to upscale, plus multiple four-wheel-drive setups and available air suspension, so you can shop for comfort, luxury, or off-road hardware depending on your needs.

With 39.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to work with.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a model built around Jeep’s established formula: capability, a premium-leaning cabin, and a broad range of configurations. That kind of flexibility can be a strength if you want a vehicle that handles daily driving and tougher terrain without giving up comfort.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a configuration that costs more to buy and run than you expected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on condition, maintenance evidence, and whether the equipment level matches what you want. Because this model can be configured from basic to upscale, it is worth checking that the features, drivetrain, and overall wear line up with the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,980 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.80% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,433, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $29,433 sits slightly below last year's $31,922.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favorable point, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained. A well-kept example with desirable features should hold buyer interest better than a higher-mileage or poorly documented one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,587, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,433 average.
• It adds a redesigned feel with more technology and sophistication.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value-focused alternative and still delivers the Grand Cherokee’s core strengths.
