How much does the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 7.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,917 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the 2023 Grand Cherokee’s appeal comes from its blend of capability and a more premium feel than many mainstream rivals. It offers a wide trim range, from practical to upscale, and gives you multiple four-wheel-drive setups, including systems with a low range and an available air suspension for added ground clearance. That makes it a strong fit if you want everyday comfort without giving up real off-road hardware.

The market also looks reasonably shopper-friendly, with 37.3% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Grand Cherokee’s overview points to a model built around capability, premium features, and a broad range of configurations, which can be a plus if you want a vehicle tailored to your needs. Its appeal is strongest when you value off-road ability, available luxury, and flexibility in how you equip it.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher-spec versions can be more expensive to buy and run than you might expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or repairs that could affect long-term value. Pay close attention to condition on higher-trim or more heavily equipped examples, since those can carry more complexity and higher ownership costs. If you’re considering a four-wheel-drive or air-suspension-equipped vehicle, make sure those systems operate as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right example.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,917 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,358, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $29,358 sits slightly below last year's $31,798.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more selectively now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition so you preserve as much value as possible. Models that are priced competitively today may be easier to move later if the market stays steady.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,445, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,358 average.
• It adds a meaningful boost in technology and sophistication.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, broad inventory, and high satisfaction, the 2023 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the smarter path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and can live with its lower price point.
