Used 2023 Jeep Cherokee for Sale nearPhoenix, AZ

How much does the 2023 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 1,074 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Cherokee earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a compact SUV with everyday usability and genuine Jeep character. The overview points to a model that blends all-weather traction, adventure-minded capability, and a relatively accessible price range, while still offering a broad spread of trims and features. It also stands out for buyers who want more capability than a typical small crossover without moving into a much pricier newer Jeep. 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also notes that the Cherokee’s strengths were tempered by poor efficiency and transmission issues that affected early third-generation models, so reliability-minded shoppers should treat condition and maintenance history as especially important. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a poorly maintained example that shows the effects of those known drivetrain concerns.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on signs of prior damage, inconsistent repairs, or skipped maintenance. A careful test drive matters here, especially because the overview calls out transmission issues in early third-generation models. Pay close attention to how the vehicle shifts, accelerates, and behaves under different driving conditions so you can judge overall condition before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,074 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,026, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $23,188 sits slightly above last year's $23,141.

That small increase suggests the Cherokee has held its value fairly steadily, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. A stable price trend can help support resale confidence because it shows the market has not been swinging sharply in either direction. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should have a reasonable path to a competitive future sale.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the right pick if you want the Cherokee’s final-year mix of Jeep character, usable features, and a relatively stable used market. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2023’s steadier market position and strong inventory mix.
