About 2023 Jaguar I-PACE
The automotive world is going electric, but everyone will reach the finish line at different times and in different ways. Jaguar has offered an electric model for a few years now and says it will offer three more SUVs by 2025. The existing model has earned more than its fair share of accolades and recognition. To keep it fresh, Jaguar skipped the 2021 model year and introduced a heavily updated electric SUV for 2022. The automaker rolled out a host of improvements for 2023 as well, including more power, better range, and more tech. The 2023 I-Pace offers up to 246 miles of range and comes standard with all-wheel drive (AWD). The two Jaguar-designed electric motors produce 394 horsepower and 512 pound-feet of torque, and they deliver a zero-to-60-mph time of 4.5 seconds. Power comes from a 90-kWh battery, and Jaguar says the car can add up to 63 miles of range in 15 minutes using a 100-kW DC fast charger. Jaguar offers the I-Pace in a single trim for 2023. The HSE model brings several standard exterior features, including LED exterior lighting, acoustic glass, automatic headlight leveling, 20-inch wheels, a power liftgate, rain-sensing wipers, and more. Two exterior appearance packages are available, including light and dark themes. Jaguar sells upgraded wheels, too, with sizes ranging up to 22 inches. Screens play a big role in the I-Pace’s cabin. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is joined by a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen and a five-inch lower touchscreen. While the larger screen handles audio and other entertainment features, the lower display houses climate settings and other controls. Other standard gear includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM radio, wireless smartphone charging, Bluetooth, and USB charging ports. The I-Pace has not yet been crash-tested, but Jaguar is generous with standard safety equipment. The list includes automatic emergency braking, a driver-condition monitoring system, traffic-sign recognition with adaptive speed limiting, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, a rearview camera, rear cross-traffic alerts, parking sensors, rear pre-collision assist, and adaptive cruise control with steering assist. When it arrived, the I-Pace was an oddity in the luxury market, as it was one of the only available fully electric models. Now, however, the scene is much different. Nearly every luxury automaker currently offers at least one electric vehicle (EV), and many are planning several new electric models in the next few years. Buyers may also consider the Audi e-tron, the Tesla Model X, and a long list of gas-powered luxury SUVs. Pricing for the 2023 Jaguar I-Pace starts at $72,575, which includes a $1,275 destination charge. The I-Pace is available with options packages that include a $550 cold weather package, a $245 rear-seat convenience package, a $560 interior protection package, and a $510 basic interior protection package.
