About 2020 Jaguar I-PACE
The I-Pace is Jaguar’s first all-electric crossover, competing primarily with the Audi e-tron and Tesla Model X. Despite its compact dimensions, the I-Pace has plenty of space, with room for five people. For 2020, it gets slightly increased range. Jaguar endows the I-Pace with dual electric motors and a 90 kilowatt-hour battery, making for all-wheel drive (AWD), 394 horsepower, and 512 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy stands at 80 city, 72 highway, and 76 combined miles-per-gallon equivalent (MPGe). Thanks to strategies learned from Jaguar’s racing program, the 2020 model comes with 253 miles of range, an increase of 19 miles over last year's number. A DC fast-charging station replenishes 80 percent of the I-Pace's battery in as few as 40 minutes; on a household Level 2 charger, the job takes 13 hours. You can select from S, SE, and HSE trims on the I-Pace. The base S comes with air suspension, a 10.5-inch upper and 5.5-inch lower infotainment display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, keyless access and start, a 380-watt Meridian sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and LED exterior lighting. Options on other trims include leather upholstery, upgraded LED headlights, adaptive dampers, four-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, and an 825-watt Meridian sound system. Forward-collision warning, automatic-emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, a reversing camera, and lane-keeping assist are all standard. Adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring cost extra. As of yet, neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has crash-tested the I-PACE.
