Is the 2023 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 INFINITI QX80 earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its upscale, comfortable ride, its smooth handling for a large SUV, and the sense that it delivers a lot of features for the money. That fits especially well if you want a full-size luxury SUV with a traditional body-on-frame layout, lots of standard equipment, and a comfort-first personality. With 32.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for its comfortable ride and confidence in the value it delivers over time. That said, used buyers should still watch for wear items and make sure the vehicle has been maintained carefully, since long-term ownership risk is always tied to condition and service history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or neglected maintenance. Pay close attention to the interior, electronics, and ride quality so you can confirm the vehicle matches the comfort-focused experience you expect. Because this SUV is often chosen for its features and value, condition matters a lot when you compare listings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 INFINITI QX80?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 776 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,325, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $43,325 sits slightly below last year's $47,451.

That price movement suggests the QX80 has softened, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained than on broad market momentum alone. Strong equipment, comfort, and owner satisfaction can still help support demand when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,945, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $43,325 average.
• It brings a meaningful technology refresh with a more current infotainment setup.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of owner satisfaction, inventory, and pricing context, the 2023 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the smarter value play and still gives you much of the same core appeal.
