Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a history report, even when the market looks healthy, because it helps confirm the vehicle’s background and ownership story. Since this SUV is often chosen for comfort and equipment, make sure the features you care about are working properly.

What is the 2023 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $43,998 sits slightly below last year's $47,764.

That decline suggests the model has become more affordable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current trend shows that value has softened, so condition and equipment will matter more when you try to maximize your return. Strong owner satisfaction can still help support demand when it comes time to list.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 42.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $36,121, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $43,998 average.
• It adds a meaningful tech refresh with a more modern infotainment setup.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall market balance, the 2023 is the better all-around pick because it combines solid owner satisfaction, healthy inventory, and a favorable price trend. If your top priority is spending less, the 2022 is the smarter value play and still gives you much of the same appeal.
