How much does the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz cost?

There are 1,753 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz earns a 4.88/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its smooth ride, modern technology, and spacious interior, and they also like the way it blends utility with comfort. The main tradeoffs mentioned are concerns about the durability of some electronic features and limited payload capacity. With 34.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels smooth, comfortable, and well-rounded for everyday use, which supports confidence in long-term ownership. At the same time, you should pay close attention to the condition of the electronics and confirm that everything works as intended before you buy. For used shoppers, that means the biggest long-term risk is not broad mechanical weakness so much as avoiding a truck with neglected feature issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, even when the listing looks clean, because that helps confirm the truck’s past and ownership record. Put inspection priority on the electronics and any features that owners say can be less durable, and make sure everything operates correctly. It’s also smart to focus on overall condition and how the truck has been used, especially if you want one that will hold up well over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,753 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.31% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,807, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz's resale value?

The current average of $24,857 sits slightly below last year's $26,251.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A lower current average can make it easier for future shoppers to justify a purchase, but it also means you should expect some depreciation pressure if you buy at the wrong price. Strong demand for well-reviewed examples can help cushion that effect, especially when the truck is clean and well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,582, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $24,857 average.
• It introduced Hyundai's distinctive compact pickup formula.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $26,750, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $24,857 average.
• It adds a few updates while keeping the same quirky, utility-focused formula.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong owner-rated Santa Cruz with decent deal availability and a softer price trend. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value path; if you want to spend more for a newer example, the 2024 is the alternative to compare.
