How much does the 2023 Honda Civic cost?

Prices have softened 1.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,805 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Honda Civic a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.88/5, which points to very strong satisfaction with this model year. The review summary repeatedly highlights comfort, fuel efficiency, roomy interior space, and strong performance, while also noting that some shoppers wish more features were standard. For you, that means the 2023 Civic makes the most sense if you want a practical compact car that feels more polished than basic. With 34.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2023 Honda Civic reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also emphasizes that owners find it comfortable and dependable for everyday use, with many praising the roomy cabin and trouble-free ownership experience. That kind of feedback suggests the 2023 Civic should be a reassuring used-car choice if you want something you can count on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about core reliability and more about finding a well-kept example with the features and condition you expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Civic?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or poor repairs. Because some shoppers have noted missing features on certain versions, it also helps to confirm the exact equipment on the listing before you commit. Focus on overall condition, maintenance evidence, and whether the car matches the trim and features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Civic?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,805 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,180, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Civic's resale value?

The current average of $24,078 sits slightly below last year's $24,389.

That small decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale gains may be modest unless you choose carefully. If you plan to sell later, condition and mileage will matter a lot, especially because buyers in this segment tend to compare many similar listings. A well-kept Civic should still hold broad appeal thanks to its strong reputation and practical layout.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Civic or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,263, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $24,078 average.
• The redesign brought major handling and technology improvements.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $25,092, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $24,078 average.
• It emphasizes engaging performance with a manual-transmission enthusiast focus.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want a polished Civic with strong owner satisfaction and decent market availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value path; if you want a more enthusiast-oriented setup, the 2024 is the alternative to compare.
