Used 2023 Genesis GV60 for Sale near California

How much does the 2023 Genesis GV60 cost?

Prices are up 8.17% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 142 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Genesis GV60 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Genesis GV60 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The GV60 stands out as Genesis’s first electric vehicle, and it brings a distinctive compact luxury crossover identity rather than a conventional one. Its styling, fun driving character, and impressive technology are the main reasons it makes such a strong first impression.

The trade-offs are real: the ride can feel bouncy, cargo space is limited, and the value case is tougher without the federal income tax credit. Even so, the GV60’s design and tech give it a clear personality that helps it stand apart.

Good and great deals account for 33.8% of listings, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Genesis GV60 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GV60’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward electric powertrain and the fact that it’s built around a modern EV platform. In expert testing, it also felt silent, speedy, and smooth around town, which supports the impression of a well-sorted daily driver.

Genesis also says the battery can recharge from 10 percent to 80 percent in 18 minutes on a 350-kW charger, and about seven hours on a 240-volt home charger from 10 percent to 100 percent. That makes home charging the easier long-term routine, while frequent DC fast charging is best kept to road trips and occasional top-ups.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the battery and charging system have been treated well, since EV range and charging performance matter more than traditional wear items.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis GV60?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one that has spent a lot of time on DC fast charging. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and whether the car’s tech features work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Advanced and Performance trims both bring a high-end cabin and strong tech, but the Performance model adds more power and quicker acceleration. The base-level equipment is already rich, so the main question is whether you want the extra output and range trade-off of the Performance model.
• Powertrain: Both trims use a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup. The Advanced makes 314 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque, while the Performance increases output to 429 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Every GV60 includes Genesis’s full suite of driver-assistance systems, including Remote Smart Parking Assist, Blind-Spot View Monitor, Advanced Rear Occupant Alert, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assistance, navigation-based functionality, and lane-change assistance. The lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assistance systems were poorly behaved in testing, so pay attention to how those features work on the specific vehicle you’re considering.
• Infotainment: You get dual 12.3-inch displays under one piece of glass, plus Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, connected services, dynamic voice recognition, navigation, satellite radio, and a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
• Range & charging: The Advanced is rated at 248 miles of range from a 77.4-kilowatt-hour battery pack, while the Performance is rated at 235 miles. Genesis says the GV60 can recharge from 10 percent to 80 percent in 18 minutes on a 350-kW charger, and about seven hours on a 240-volt home charger from 10 percent to 100 percent.
• Battery health: Check the battery state of health, confirm normal charging speeds, and make sure the car has been used in a way that fits your driving habits. For most used EV shoppers, a healthy battery and predictable charging routine matter more than almost anything else.

Which 2023 Genesis GV60 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis GV60 is offered in 2 trim levels: Advanced and Performance.

Here's the short version:

• Advanced: This is the better-value choice if you want the GV60’s core appeal without paying for the extra output of the Performance model. You still get the dual-motor AWD setup, strong tech, and the longer 248-mile range estimate, which makes it the smarter pick for most buyers.
• Performance: Choose this one if you want the quickest GV60 and are willing to give up some range for more power. It raises output to 429 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, and it suits you best if acceleration matters more than maximum efficiency.

Every GV60 includes the full Genesis driver-assistance suite, so you’re not giving up safety equipment by choosing the less expensive trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Genesis GV60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, but the best examples can still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 142 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 8.17% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 93.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,192, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Genesis GV60's resale value?

The current average of $36,493 sits slightly above last year's $33,737.

That upward move suggests the GV60 has held demand reasonably well, which can help support resale value if you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition. The current pricing also shows that shoppers are still willing to pay for this model’s design and technology, even with its value challenges.

For a future seller, that means a well-kept GV60 with clean history and desirable equipment should remain easier to move than a less distinctive EV. The strongest examples are likely to be the ones with good battery health, clean records, and the right trim balance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Genesis GV60 safe?

The 2023 Genesis GV60 earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every GV60 has every driving-assistance system in the Genesis arsenal. Standard equipment includes Remote Smart Parking Assist, Blind-Spot View Monitor, Advanced Rear Occupant Alert, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assistance, and lane-change assistance.

That said, the lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assistance systems were badly behaved in testing, with false warnings and inaccurate corrections. If you’re shopping used, make sure those systems operate properly on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis GV60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 8.17% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 is the first Genesis EV, and it brings a distinctive design, strong tech, and a fun driving character that help define the model’s identity.

The bottom line: If you want the GV60’s freshest identity and you value its styling, technology, and driving character, the 2023 is the right place to start. If you’re more price-sensitive, focus on the best-equipped example you can find within your budget and compare it carefully against other EVs with more cargo space or stronger value math.
