The 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty is aimed at buyers who need serious towing and hauling ability, and the overview highlights a redesigned frame, a broad spread of powertrains, and a cabin that is more modern than older heavy-duty trucks. What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report. You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on signs of towing wear, suspension condition, and evidence of heavy-duty use. It also makes sense to pay close attention to overall condition, because a truck built for serious hauling may have seen more demanding service than a typical used pickup.

The current average of $60,052 sits slightly below last year's $63,473. That kind of price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the truck is maintained and how much demand remains for heavy-duty capability. If you keep mileage, condition, and service history in strong shape, you should be better positioned when it is time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the right pick if you want a modern heavy-duty truck with strong owner satisfaction, broad capability, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year may be worth a look, but the 2023 stands out as the better all-around choice if you want the newer redesign and can find a well-kept example at the right price.
