Used 2023 Dodge Durango for Sale near Florida

How much does the 2023 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices are up 6.87% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 3,799 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — 4.7/5 owners rate it, and the expert rating is 7.2/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise its styling, powerful performance, and spaciousness, and many also call out the comfortable ride and strong V6 fuel economy. On the other hand, some reviews point to interior quality concerns, especially in the back seat, along with depreciation worries after purchase.

That lines up with the Durango’s use case as a three-row SUV with a more aggressive personality than most rivals. If you want something that feels more muscular and distinctive than a typical family hauler, this model year fits that brief well.

There are 35.9% good or great deals in the market, which suggests you can still find attractive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many people find dependable and comfortable to live with over time, especially when it comes to the V6’s everyday usability and the Durango’s overall spaciousness. The expert review also notes a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty and a three-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty, which helps frame the ownership picture.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that higher-output versions can bring more expensive running costs and more wear-sensitive ownership than the V6 models.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Dodge Durango?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a higher-trim or V8 model. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim level you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup starts with the SXT and moves up through the GT, R/T, Citadel, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat. Lower trims are more basic, while the Citadel adds more luxurious features like Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row captain’s chairs.
• Powertrain: The standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 makes 293 horsepower, while the 5.7-liter Hemi V8, 6.4-liter Hemi V8, and supercharged 6.2-liter V8 step up performance substantially. The V6 is the efficiency-minded choice, while the V8s trade economy for stronger acceleration and a more muscular driving feel.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are standard on all trim levels. Forward collision warning is standard only on the Citadel and part of an option package on other models, while lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking are standard only on the Citadel and not available on the base SXT.
• Infotainment: SXT and GT models get an 8.4-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Citadel and the two SRT models get a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus the newer Uconnect 5 system.
• Fuel efficiency: The base Pentastar V6 with rear-wheel drive is rated at 21 mpg combined. Fuel economy drops to 17 mpg combined with the 5.7-liter V8, 15 mpg combined with the 6.4-liter V8, and 13 mpg combined with the supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat engine.

Which 2023 Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2023 Dodge Durango is offered in 5 trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel, SRT 392.

Here's the short version:

• SXT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Durango’s core three-row SUV formula with the standard V6. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup, but it also misses some of the more desirable convenience and safety content found higher up.
• GT: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it keeps the V6 formula while adding more style and equipment flexibility. If you want a more polished Durango without jumping into V8 pricing, this is the trim to focus on.
• R/T: Choose this if you want the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and the stronger performance character that comes with it. It’s the trim for buyers who care more about power and sound than maximizing fuel economy.
• Citadel: This is the comfort-oriented pick, with the most upscale interior treatment in the lineup and the strongest safety content. It suits you best if you want a more premium-feeling Durango and value standard driver-assistance features.
• SRT 392: This is the performance-focused choice for buyers who want the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 and the most aggressive driving experience short of the Hellcat. It’s the right fit if you want the Durango’s muscle-car personality dialed up.

The Citadel is the trim where the most important safety features are standard, while the base SXT leaves several of them unavailable.

What is the 2023 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $33,017 sits slightly above last year's $30,894.

That upward move suggests the Durango has held buyer interest well enough to support pricing. For a future seller, that’s a positive sign: a model with steady demand and a broad trim spread can be easier to move when it’s time to sell.

The market also shows enough inventory to give buyers choices, but not so much that pricing has collapsed. If you keep mileage, condition, and equipment in line with the market, you should have a reasonable shot at preserving value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Dodge Durango safe?

The 2023 Dodge Durango received top "Good" marks in the original-format moderate front overlap and side tests, as well as the roof strength test, but it received a "Marginal" score in the driver-side small overlap front test. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave it a four-star overall safety rating, with five-star ratings in the side crash test, four-star ratings in the frontal crash test, and four-star rollover ratings for rear-wheel-drive versions; all-wheel-drive models received a three-star rollover rating.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are standard on all trim levels. Forward collision warning is standard only on the Citadel and part of an option package on other models, while lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking are standard only on the Citadel and not available at all on the base SXT model.

The Marginal small-overlap result is the main caveat to keep in mind if safety is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2023 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 6.87% year-over-year.
