Used 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 5.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,206 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a 4.9/5 user rating and an 8.00/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its features, comfort, and driving dynamics, with recurring positives around heated seats, safety technology, and spaciousness. It also fits well if you want an affordable small SUV with a straightforward personality and easy-to-use technology.

The trade-offs are worth keeping in mind: the transmission can be irritating, advanced safety features are not standard, and fuel economy is poor. Even so, the Trailblazer’s value-focused setup and practical everyday usefulness make it appealing if you want a compact crossover that does not try to be larger or more complicated than it needs to be.

With 31.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with praise centered on comfort, features, and driving dynamics. That kind of response usually matters most when you are trying to judge whether a used SUV will feel trouble-free over time.

The expert review also supports that impression by describing the Trailblazer as a practical, easy-to-use small SUV with a sensible overall feel. Chevy’s three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty also help frame the ownership picture.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright complexity and more about making sure the transmission and overall condition have been well maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a close inspection of the transmission behavior, interior condition, and any signs that the vehicle has been used hard or modified. Focus on whether the features you care about are actually present, since some desirable equipment is optional rather than standard.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base LS is the most stripped-down version, while the LT adds more flexibility and the Activ and RS bring distinct styling and personality. If you want the best balance of value and equipment, the LT is the trim to study first.
• Powertrain: The standard 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder makes 137 horsepower and is front-wheel drive only, while the optional 1.3-liter turbo-three makes 155 horsepower and can be paired with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Front-wheel-drive models use a CVT, while all-wheel-drive models use a nine-speed automatic.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and Teen Driver. Blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are optional, so check carefully for those features on the sticker.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM, Bluetooth, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. An 8-inch touchscreen, navigation, a Bose audio system, rear-seat USB ports, and wireless phone charging are optional.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA ratings are 29 mpg city and 31 mpg highway for 1.2-liter FWD models, 29 mpg city and 33 mpg highway for 1.3-liter FWD models, and 26 mpg city and 30 mpg highway for 1.3-liter AWD models.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and are comfortable with the most basic setup. It is limited to the smaller engine and front-wheel drive, so it is best for shoppers who care most about affordability.
• LT: This is the best-value trim to focus on because it opens the door to more equipment and the option of all-wheel drive and the stronger engine. If you want the most balanced mix of price, flexibility, and everyday usability, this is the trim to target first.
• Activ: This trim adds the more rugged look, roof rails, and chunkier tires, plus the model-specific front fascia. It suits you if you want a more distinctive appearance and a slightly more outdoorsy vibe.
• RS: This is the style-forward choice, with blacked-out trim, a mesh grille, and dual exhaust outlets with chrome tips. It is the right pick if you want the sportiest appearance in the lineup.

Safety equipment is not fully standard across the lineup, so check each listing carefully for the driver-assistance features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,206 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.82% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,769, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $20,769 sits slightly below last year's $22,054.

That softer pricing suggests the Trailblazer has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive resale environment than last year. If you buy well now, you may benefit from the lower entry price, but you should still expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

The good news is that the Trailblazer’s broad appeal, practical size, and strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell. Well-equipped examples with the right condition and history should remain easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer was named a 2022 Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, and it earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in the frontal and side crash-test categories and four-star ratings in rollover crash testing.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and Teen Driver. Optional driver-assistance features include blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.

One caveat is that the standard halogen headlights were rated only “Average” by IIHS, while the optional LED headlights earned a “Good” score.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines value, easy-to-use tech, and a practical small-SUV layout.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $18,710, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $20,769 average.
• It adds a heated steering wheel and new paint choices.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,399, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $20,769 average.
• It improves passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest mix of price, features, and safety. If your budget is tighter, the 2022 is the value play; if you want a newer-feeling package and can spend more, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
