How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe cost?

Prices have softened 8.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,564 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction for a full-size SUV. Drivers commonly praise its spaciousness, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and the Tahoe’s family-friendly layout makes it a strong fit if you want room for passengers and cargo without giving up towing ability. Some owners also note that it can feel pricey for the average budget, so it tends to make the most sense if you value size, capability, and comfort over bargain pricing. With 33.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value the Tahoe’s long-term usefulness as a family hauler. Its strong reputation for space and capability also suggests it can be a vehicle you count on for regular use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the basic formula and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report so you can confirm accident status, title history, and any major insurance claims. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, suspension, brakes, and any towing-related wear, since a large SUV like this can see hard use. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because the best used Tahoe is usually the one that shows careful ownership rather than just the lowest price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,564 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $50,071, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $50,071 sits slightly below last year's $54,483.

That price movement suggests the Tahoe has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than before. If you buy at the right price now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation later. Demand should remain supported by the Tahoe’s size, utility, and broad appeal to family buyers.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Tahoe is the right pick if you want the newer model-year package with strong owner satisfaction, a softer price trend, and a decent pool of listings to compare. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2023 stands out as a balanced choice when you want modern features and broad market availability.
