How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban cost?

Prices have softened 9.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,758 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

The Suburban is built around space and usefulness, with an independent rear suspension that improves ride and handling while also helping cargo space and third-row legroom. Its longer wheelbase makes the third row easier to reach, and the overall design favors passenger and cargo utility over style alone. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you need a large SUV that prioritizes room, capability, and everyday practicality.

36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Suburban’s overview points to a vehicle engineered for heavy use, with a broad mix of powertrain and technology choices and the kind of utility buyers expect from a full-size SUV. It also includes everyday convenience features like wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and access to a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity than about the realities of a large gasoline SUV: higher operating costs, size-related wear, and the need to confirm that a big vehicle has been maintained carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Suburban?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and mechanical condition. Because this is a large SUV, pay close attention to signs of heavy family use, parking damage, and any evidence that the vehicle has been used hard or neglected. It also helps to confirm that the features and equipment you care about are working as expected before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Suburban?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,758 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $47,098, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban's resale value?

The current average of $47,098 sits slightly below last year's $51,826.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current trend means you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Suburban or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $41,629, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $47,098 average.
• It adds meaningful tech and safety updates.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $56,156, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $47,098 average.
• It keeps the same roomy, utility-first cabin with strong towing appeal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2022 is the smarter path because it costs less while still delivering the Suburban’s core space and capability.
