Should I buy a 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• It brings a more polished cabin and a fuller first full model year.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2023 is the one to target because it combines strong owner satisfaction with a healthy share of good deals and a high share of accident-free listings. If you’re willing to spend more for a more refined and fully developed version, the 2024 is the better secondary path for shoppers who care more about freshness than price.

How does the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ compare to the 2023 Tesla Model Y?

The LYRIQ is the pricier, more luxury-focused option, and it also shows a stronger share of good deals and accident-free listings in this comparison. The Model Y gives you a lower entry price and more listings to choose from, so it may fit better if you want broader inventory and a lower purchase budget. If you want the more upscale used-EV pick, the LYRIQ is the stronger fit; if price and selection matter more, the Model Y is the easier shopping target.
