Used 2023 BMW iX for Sale nearJacksonville, FL

How much does the 2023 BMW iX cost?

Prices have softened 1.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,068 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 BMW iX a good car?

Generally — the 2023 BMW iX earns a 4.33/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The iX fits you best if you want a premium electric SUV with a spacious cabin, high-quality materials, and strong electric performance. BMW’s own positioning for this model year emphasizes luxury, range, and speed, and the M60 variant adds a sharper performance edge for buyers who want more urgency from an EV.

The main trade-offs are its potentially polarizing design and its poor value for money. If you care most about conventional styling or bargain pricing, this is not the easiest SUV to justify.

With 40.4% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have room to shop carefully and compare examples.

Is the 2023 BMW iX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The iX is presented as a premium EV with a strong focus on refinement, and BMW backs it with an eight-year/100,000-mile high-voltage battery warranty plus three years or 36,000 miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance. That combination helps reduce early ownership friction, especially if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years.

BMW also says the iX’s electric setup supports strong range and efficient charging behavior, which matters for day-to-day dependability in an EV. For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is battery and charging-system wear, so you should pay close attention to charging history and warranty coverage remaining.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 BMW iX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because even a clean-looking listing can hide prior damage or incomplete repairs. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on battery health, charging performance, tire wear, and any signs that the vehicle has been fast-charged heavily or inconsistently maintained. Since this is an EV, you should also pay attention to cabin condition, software behavior, and whether all driver-assistance features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The iX’s design is polarizing, but the interior is a strong point, with premium materials, a simple layout, and comfortable seating. The base version may leave you wanting more if you expect the richest equipment mix.
• Powertrain: The xDrive50 uses dual electric motors and all-wheel drive with 516 horsepower and 564 pound-feet of torque, while the M60 also uses dual motors and raises output to 610 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque with launch control activated.
• Safety package: BMW’s Active Driving Assistant is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-departure warning, traffic-sign recognition, active park distance control, automatic collision notification, automatic high-beam headlights, a rearview camera, and a safe-exit system.
• Infotainment: The iX uses a 14.9-inch curved touchscreen with iDrive 8, plus voice control, gesture control, and a rotary dial. Wireless smartphone integration and over-the-air capability are not specified in the provided data.
• Range & charging: BMW says the xDrive50 can travel up to 324 miles on a full charge and regain up to 90 miles in 10 minutes on a DC fast charger. The M60 can go up to 280 miles and also recover 90 miles in 10 minutes. The battery pack is 111.5 kWh, and BMW says a full charge on a 240-volt station takes 12 hours for the M60 tester.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should confirm battery state-of-health, ask how often the car was charged at home versus on DC fast chargers, and verify how much of the battery warranty remains. That matters more than mileage alone on an electric SUV like this.

Which 2023 BMW iX trim should I buy?

The 2023 BMW iX is offered in 2 trim levels: xDrive50, M60.

Here's the short version:

• xDrive50: This is the better-value choice if you want the iX’s core strengths — strong range, dual-motor all-wheel drive, a premium cabin, and the standard technology and safety equipment — without paying M60 money.
• M60: Choose this if you want the most powerful version and care most about acceleration and performance. It adds the sharper driving character and the headline horsepower figures, but it comes at a steep price.

BMW’s standard safety suite is already well equipped, so the xDrive50 is the trim most shoppers should start with unless you specifically want the M60’s extra performance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 BMW iX?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with meaningful inventory and a decent share of well-priced listings.

• Deal availability: 40.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,068 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,070, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 BMW iX's resale value?

The current average of $47,019 sits slightly below last year's $47,685.

That tells you the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer now but may temper short-term resale upside if you plan to sell soon. The current pricing trend suggests the iX is holding value reasonably well for a premium EV, but not strongly enough to ignore condition, mileage, and equipment when you shop.

If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should be able to protect more of its value over time. The combination of premium positioning and solid owner satisfaction can help support demand later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 BMW iX safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

BMW’s Active Driving Assistant is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-departure warning, traffic-sign recognition, active park distance control, automatic collision notification, automatic high-beam headlights, a rearview camera, and a safe-exit system.

The Driver’s Assistance Pro package adds Active Driving Assistant Pro and Parking Assistant Professional, including lane-keeping assistance and adaptive cruise control, among other items. One important caveat is that neither NHTSA nor IIHS crash-test ratings are published for this model year.

Should I buy a 2023 BMW iX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 40.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 model adds the more powerful M60 variant, giving you a sharper performance option without changing the iX’s premium EV identity.

Consider the 2022 if:

• It launched the iX as BMW’s first all-electric SUV for North America and emphasizes comfort, range, and a relaxed driving feel.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and the added performance choice of the M60, the 2023 is the better path. If your priority is simply getting into an iX at the lowest possible entry point, the 2022 can make sense as a price-sensitive alternative.
