The 2023 Audi S6 is one of the world’s definitive performance-luxury sedans. It has a potent twin-turbocharged mild-hybrid powerplant, a sophisticated chassis that blends speed and comfort, and a high-grade interior outfitted with the latest in-car technology. And at the end of the day, it’s still a luxury sedan with spacious accommodations for five passengers, and it provides 13.7 cubic feet of cargo space.

For the 2023 model year, the S6 is now offered in the entry-level Premium trim, thus lowering the base price for this athletic executive sedan. Standard equipment on the Premium trim includes leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, and proximity keyless entry. The S6 also comes standard with a fully digital instrument panel and a dual-screen infotainment system. The lower screen operates vehicle and climate controls, while the upper screen manages the entertainment functions, as well as the standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Moving up to the Premium Plus trim adds features like wireless device charging and a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system. For 2023, this trim now includes the heated rear seats and added leather on the dash, armrests, and console.

An Executive Package is available for the Premium Plus trim. It adds ventilated front seats, quad-zone climate control, and a power trunk lid. For 2023, this package adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality. That extended leather package comes standard on the range-topping Prestige, as do HD Matrix LED headlights with high-beam assist.

The A6 is also available with styling options packages, such as the new Audi Sport package. It includes a black interior with red stitching on the seats, as well as the armrests and doors.

The 2023 Audi S6 features a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 engine combined with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It makes 444 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission to Audi’s capable Quattro all-wheel drive. This mild-hybrid setup returns fuel economy of 18 mpg city, 28 highway, and 22 combined, and premium fuel is required. The S6 is capable of sprinting to 60 mph from a standstill in 4.4 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 155 mph. Audi loads up the S6 with a host of standard safety tech, including forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, pedestrian detection, and automatic high beams. Optional safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, night vision, traffic-sign recognition, a head-up display, and adaptive cruise control.

Base MSRP for the 2023 Audi S6 is $72,700 for the new Premium trim—that’s roughly $2,000 lower than the base price from 2022. The Premium Plus trim clocks in at $77,400, and the range-topping Prestige starts at $81,500. The Audi S6 is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty.
