Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi S5 Sportback?

What is the 2023 Audi S5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $44,204 sits slightly below last year's $48,160.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays under pressure. If you plan to sell later, buying well now matters because your eventual resale value will depend heavily on how much room you leave between purchase price and market average.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi S5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of current pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the primary year to target. If you're especially price-sensitive, compare it against nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2023's combination of deal availability and cleaner inventory.
