Is the 2023 Audi A6 a good car?

The 2023 Audi A6 sits in the middle of a long-running luxury-sedan lineage that has built its reputation on understated style, technology, and all-wheel-drive confidence. For you, that means the A6 is aimed at shoppers who want premium comfort, a restrained look, and a strong emphasis on tech rather than flash.

Its appeal comes from a mix of refinement, standard all-wheel drive, and a modern feature set that includes digital interfaces, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual screens, and semi-autonomous capability. The tradeoffs are part of the package, though, including conservative styling, disappointing fuel economy, and an infotainment system that has drawn criticism.

With 37.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from if you want to be selective.

Is the 2023 Audi A6 reliable?

The 2023 Audi A6 is presented as a polished, understated luxury sedan with standard all-wheel drive and a strong emphasis on technology. Its conservative design and premium comfort focus make it appealing if you want a refined daily driver with a modern feel.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a tech-heavy luxury sedan can be more expensive to keep in top shape than a simpler car, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize an inspection of the infotainment system, electronics, tires, brakes, and any signs of uneven wear, since those are the areas most likely to affect your ownership experience.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi A6?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 554 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.82% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,092, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $32,092 sits slightly below last year's $34,816.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more confidently now if you plan to keep the car for a while. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the car has been maintained. If you buy well and keep the car clean and documented, you give yourself a better chance of protecting value later.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.82% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2023 Audi A6 makes the most sense if you want the current-year balance of price, inventory, and clean listings in a refined luxury sedan. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower average price outweighs the 2023’s current market position.
