You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or signs of heavy use. Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi A5 Sportback?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2023 Audi A5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $30,878 sits slightly below last year's $35,072.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the softer current pricing means resale gains may be more limited unless the car is especially clean, well maintained, and attractively equipped. Strong condition and documented care matter more when the market is already pricing in depreciation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi A5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the primary year to target. If you're especially price-sensitive, compare it against nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2023's current market softness and solid deal availability.
