What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi A3?

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the car’s condition beyond the listing photos and description. Focus on signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and any evidence that the car has been repaired or modified. A clean history report is important, but the car’s current condition should still guide your final decision.

What is the 2023 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $24,261 sits slightly above last year's $24,034.

That small increase suggests the A3 has held its value fairly well in the near term. For a future seller, that points to a market that has been stable rather than volatile. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a reasonable path to resale later.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $21,516, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $24,261 average.
• The 2022 brings a more polished feel and a broader spread of versions.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the current-year market with steady pricing and a healthy share of clean, fairly priced listings. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value-focused alternative, especially if you find one in strong condition.
