Used 2023 Acura RDX for Sale near Florida

How much does the 2023 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 6.96% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,024 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2023 Acura RDX is a mixed but appealing choice if you want a premium compact SUV that emphasizes value, comfort, and driving enjoyment. It earns a user rating of 3/5 and an expert rating of 6.17/10.

The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

Its strengths are easy to see in everyday use: it is described as fun to drive, comfortable, and a relative bargain in the luxury SUV class. The trade-offs are just as clear, especially the unintuitive infotainment system and the fact that the cabin design is less modern than some rivals.

With 39.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you room to shop carefully for the right example.

Is the 2023 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2023 Acura RDX presents itself as a well-rounded luxury SUV with strong performance, high comfort, and a reputation for solid safety. Its turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain is described as more than adequate for most drivers, with immediate throttle response and a transmission that does an excellent job of selecting the right gear.

The performance notes also point to confident handling, good body control, and a ride that stays comfortable over rough pavement. On the ownership side, Acura includes two years of free scheduled maintenance, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the infotainment system’s complexity may remain frustrating even after you adapt to it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Acura RDX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a thorough inspection, especially if the vehicle has been driven hard or shows signs of heavy use. Focus on overall condition, how the controls feel in daily use, and whether the technology setup works for you before you commit.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin uses a vertical layout with a 10.2-inch infotainment display, physical climate controls, and a digital center display with analog gauges on either side. The interior is described as less modern than rivals with oversized touchscreens and fully digital instrument panels, so base-trim shoppers should pay close attention to whether the simpler setup suits them.
• Powertrain: A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine makes 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on all models.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keep assist. The Technology package adds front and rear parking proximity sensors, while the Advance package adds a surround-view camera system and a head-up display.
• Infotainment: The system uses a touchpad controller rather than a touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto improve usability, and the vehicle also comes standard with a Wi-Fi hotspot and remote monitoring and control via the Acuralink smartphone app.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD model is estimated at 21 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined. FWD models improve by one mpg across the board.

Which 2023 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2023 Acura RDX is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Technology, A-Spec, and Advance.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point if you want the lowest-cost way into the RDX lineup, but you should be comfortable with the standard equipment set and the touchpad-based infotainment experience.
• Technology: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, parking sensors, and an upgraded audio system for a reasonable price increase.
• A-Spec: Choose this if you want a sportier appearance and a more upscale feel, especially if you care about the visual and cabin presentation.
• Advance: This is the most complete luxury choice, adding adaptive suspension dampers, additional front seat adjustments, premium audio, and a surround-view camera system.

The Technology package is the trim-level sweet spot, and the Advance package is the one to target if you want the fullest feature set. Standard safety equipment is strong, while the Technology and Advance packages add useful upgrades.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Acura RDX?

This looks like a selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,024 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.96% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,872, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $34,872 sits slightly below last year's $37,483.

That decline suggests the RDX has become more affordable for used buyers, which can help you enter the market at a better price point. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale values to reflect the broader softening in this model year’s market.

If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later. The strongest resale prospects will likely come from well-kept examples with clean history reports and desirable equipment.

Is the 2023 Acura RDX safe?

The 2023 Acura RDX earns five-star ratings for overall and side crash protection, and four-star ratings for frontal and rollover protection from NHTSA. The IIHS gave it its highest score of Good across the board and named it a Top Safety Pick+.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keep assist. The Technology package adds front and rear parking proximity sensors, while the Advance package includes a surround-view camera system and a head-up display.

The lane-keep assist can tug against your hands in gentle curves, so it may feel better suited to straight highway driving than to more winding roads.

Should I buy a 2023 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.96% compared with last year.
• The 2023 stands out for strong performance, high comfort, and a relatively affordable price.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $31,280, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,872 average.
• It balances driving enjoyment with everyday usefulness.

The bottom line: the 2023 is the better pick if you want the stronger market mix of value, safety, and comfort. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly path and still delivers the core RDX strengths.
