Is the 2023 Acura Integra a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Technology, and Safety.

The 2023 Integra is aimed at you if you want a compact luxury car that feels more engaging than a typical commuter. Its liftback body style gives it a distinctive shape, and the turbocharged sport compact personality comes through in testing. The tradeoffs are worth weighing, though: the trunk lift-over height is awkward, and ventilated seats are not offered.

Cons: Awkward trunk lift-over height; no ventilated seats.

Market signal: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2023 Acura Integra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Integra’s standard safety equipment and well-screwed-together feel support confidence in everyday use. Its turbocharged 1.5-liter engine is described as lively, and the manual-transmission setup is praised for rev-matching, short throws, and easy downshifts. The car also includes automatic stop/start and automatic brake hold, which adds to its everyday usability.

Acura also includes a strong set of standard driver-assistance features, which helps reduce the burden of ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the car has been maintained well and that any wear items match the mileage and driving style.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Acura Integra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example. Focus on overall condition, signs of hard use, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim you’re shopping. If you want the manual-transmission version, make sure the car’s clutch and shifting feel are consistent and smooth.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Integra gets 17-inch alloy wheels, while the A-Spec adds 18-inch Shark Gray wheels. The A-Spec and A-Spec with Technology also get microsuede upholstery, and the top trim adds more premium tech and comfort features.
• Powertrain: The Integra uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four with 200 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. Lower trims use a continuously variable automatic transmission, while the A-Spec with Technology can be had with a six-speed manual transmission.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane-keeping assist, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, hill-start assist, and automatic brake hold. The A-Spec with Technology adds low-speed braking control, front and rear parking sensors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
• Infotainment: All models get Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, at least one front USB-A port, and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster. The Technology package upgrades to a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a head-up display, rear USB ports, and a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA estimates 30 mpg combined for the manual-transmission model, 32 mpg combined for the base CVT model, and 33 mpg combined for the A-Spec CVT model. In testing, the manual-transmission car returned 23 mpg in city-environment testing.

Which 2023 Acura Integra trim should I buy?

The 2023 Acura Integra is offered in 3 trim levels: Integra, A-Spec, and A-Spec with Technology.

Here's the short version:

• Integra: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the core Integra experience with strong standard safety tech, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster. It makes the most sense if you want the lowest price and don’t need the extra comfort or tech upgrades.
• A-Spec: This trim adds 18-inch Shark Gray wheels and microsuede upholstery, giving the car a sportier look and a more driver-focused cabin. It’s the best-value choice if you want more style and grip without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• A-Spec with Technology: This is the one to choose if you want the most complete package. It adds the 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging, head-up display, rear USB ports, and the premium 16-speaker audio system, and it’s also the only trim with the manual transmission.

The A-Spec with Technology adds relatively few safety features beyond the standard suite: low-speed braking control, front and rear parking sensors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Acura Integra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 964 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.63% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,025, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Acura Integra's resale value?

The current average of $26,336 sits slightly below last year's $27,329.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you if you’re buying now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. A softer market often means future sellers need to be more competitive on condition, mileage, and equipment to stand out. If you keep the car in strong shape and choose a desirable trim, you should be better positioned when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Acura Integra safe?

The 2023 Acura Integra earns five-star ratings from NHTSA in its crash tests.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Acura makes a strong safety case by including a broad set of standard driver-assistance features on every trim. You get automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane-keeping assist, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, hill-start assist, and automatic brake hold. The A-Spec with Technology adds low-speed braking control, front and rear parking sensors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

The main caveat is that IIHS has not yet tested this model year, so the strongest published crash-test result here comes from NHTSA.

Should I buy a 2023 Acura Integra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a sharp-shifting, turbocharged sport compact personality with standard advanced safety features.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $28,952, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $26,336 average.
• The Type S adds a more performance-focused driving experience.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2023 is the smarter buy because it combines a lower average price with strong safety equipment and engaging driving manners. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer model-year experience and a more performance-oriented setup, the 2024 is the path to consider.
