Why it stands out
The 2022 Toyota Tacoma retains its reputation as a leader in the midsize pickup segment, appealing notably to those who prioritize off-road capability and rugged durability. This year's model highlights its strong V6 engine option, which provides robust power for towing and off-road excursions. While some drivers note that the base engine is underwhelming, the V6 shines with a maximum towing capacity of 6,800 pounds when equipped correctly. Despite its age showing in the cabin and some technology features, the Tacoma continues to attract buyers with a mix of modern convenience and traditional reliability. The comprehensive safety features included as standard further enhance its appeal, ensuring that drivers feel secure whether they’re commuting or tackling a tough trail.

It has every feature I was looking for except BSM. Definitely a good value compared to others with the same opinions and miles. There really isnt any other models out there to compare it too. It is an awesome truck.

We have owned it 4 days. The Tacoma has great reviews and is very reliable. The V6 engine has enough power and still gets decent gas mileage.

I was specific about the features my Tacoma needed and this truck has them all. It would be nice to play some CDs but I have books on USB, so I can listen to those. Rust proofing is the only thing that I’ll need from a shop who does that. I’m enjoying the truck. I don’t know enough about other trucks to give a comparison. Thank you

It was in nice condition and low miles. But the I4 engine is horribly underpowered. And the lack of any back seats is not good. This is a very basic model - probably needs to be priced lower to sell.
