Is the 2022 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Nissan Murano earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

It stands out as a midsize SUV that leans more toward comfort and style than outright utility. You get a relaxed driving character, a distinctive design, and a well-equipped cabin, so it fits you well if you want a comfortable, upscale-feeling crossover rather than a sporty one.

With 37.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2022 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Murano is described as a comfortable, well-equipped crossover with a smooth V6 powertrain and a ride tuned for easygoing driving. Its appeal centers on comfort, features, and a relaxed character rather than complexity or performance-focused hardware.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a comfort-first SUV can still become costly if prior maintenance was neglected, so condition matters a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Nissan Murano?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or poor repairs. Focus on overall condition, because a comfortable crossover like this is best bought when the cabin, body, and mechanicals all show consistent care.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan Murano?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,366 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,694, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $21,928 sits slightly below last year's $23,928.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,002, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $21,928 average.
• It focuses on comfortable two-row seating.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the better value path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
