Used 2022 Nissan Armada for Sale near Kentucky

How much does the 2022 Nissan Armada cost?

Prices have softened 5.65% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,127 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Nissan Armada earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

Owners consistently praise its performance, luxury, and features, with especially strong feedback on the sound system, safety options, spacious interior, and towing capacity. That lines up with the Armada’s use case as a large, traditional three-row SUV for buyers who want space and strength over modern efficiency.

The main trade-offs are its poor fuel economy and the fact that the stereo is lacking, so you should expect compromises if you prioritize efficiency or premium audio. Even so, the Armada’s body-on-frame setup and roomy cabin make it a fit if you want a big SUV with a more conventional truck-based feel.

Good and great deals account for 39.1% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable and trouble-free in the ways that matter most to shoppers who want a big SUV they can count on. The expert evaluation also emphasizes the Armada’s robust, truck-based construction and strong mechanical character, which supports its reputation for long-term durability.

The Armada’s standard equipment and straightforward V8 powertrain also reinforce that sense of durability, and the ownership experience is helped by the model’s conventional layout. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is more about operating costs and wear from heavy use than about the vehicle’s core ability to keep going.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Nissan Armada?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on wear items, signs of heavy towing, and any evidence of neglected maintenance. Because this is a large, body-on-frame SUV, condition matters a lot more than mileage alone.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S trim gets standard LED lighting and 18-inch wheels, while the SV adds two speakers and the SL moves up to 20-inch wheels; the Platinum gets 22-inch wheels and a more upscale finish. The base trim also misses the wireless charging pad, so feature gaps are most noticeable there.
• Powertrain: Every Armada uses a naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard, four-wheel drive is available, and the setup is tuned more for strength and towing than efficiency.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. Adaptive cruise control with full speed range, intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent lane intervention, and rear-door alert are also standard.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, navigation, and a wireless charging pad on all but S models. Over-the-air updates are not mentioned.
• Fuel efficiency: RWD models are rated at 14 mpg city/19 mpg highway/16 mpg combined, while 4WD versions return 13 mpg city/18 mpg highway/15 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Nissan Armada trim should I buy?

The 2022 Nissan Armada is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Armada’s core strengths: the V8, standard LED lighting, the 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, and the full Safety Shield 360 suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live without extras like wireless charging and the upgraded audio systems.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds useful everyday equipment without jumping too far in price. You also get the trailer brake controller, which matters if you plan to tow, and it keeps the Armada’s practical family-and-hauling mission intact.
• SL: This is the trim to target if you want a more complete setup, especially for towing and comfort. It adds the trailer brake controller and trailer sway control, plus the upgraded wheel size and Bose audio, making it the sweet spot for buyers who want capability and nicer amenities.
• Platinum: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with 22-inch wheels, Bose audio, and the Family Entertainment System. It suits you best if you want the most upscale Armada experience and are willing to pay for it.

For safety-minded buyers, the trailer brake controller is standard on SV, SL, and Platinum, while trailer sway control is standard on SL and Platinum.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan Armada?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,127 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.65% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,449, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Nissan Armada's resale value?

The current average of $31,531 sits slightly below last year's $33,420.

That price movement suggests the Armada has softened enough to create a more buyer-friendly entry point, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about pricing. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to the higher average from a year ago.

The Armada’s strong demand among shoppers who want a large, traditional SUV can help support values, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment. Clean history and strong condition should matter a lot when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada safe?

The 2022 Nissan Armada has not been rated by IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. You also get adaptive cruise control with full speed range, intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent lane intervention, and rear-door alert.

A trailer brake controller is standard on SV, SL, and Platinum models, while trailer sway control is standard on SL and Platinum. If towing is part of your routine, that trim-level difference matters.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Armada or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines a traditional body-on-frame layout with a powerful V8 and roomy cabin.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,389, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $31,531 average.
• It offers a refreshed appearance and upgraded technology.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, pricing, and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is the better starting point. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path, especially if you can find one in good condition with the features you want.
