Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale near Oklahoma

How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 11.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,433 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 4.25/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal with some clear compromises. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Its appeal is strongest if you want a low-roofed SUV coupe with a distinctive design, a powerful engine, and impressive technology. The trade-offs are just as clear: the styling may not suit everyone, advanced safety features are not standard, and value for money is a weak point.

The 35.4% share of good or great deals suggests there are still worthwhile listings if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.25/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE is presented as a refined, technology-forward luxury SUV with premium materials and a strong feature set. Its performance setup also points to a well-developed powertrain, with EQ Boost helping add extra power when needed and supporting fuel conservation.

The maintenance angle is helped by the fact that BMW includes complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years in the comparison set, but that does not apply here. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a complex, high-tech luxury SUV can become expensive if prior maintenance was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still confirm the vehicle history report, because a clean listing percentage does not replace documentation. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the electronics, braking behavior, and suspension condition, since this model leans heavily on advanced systems. Focus on overall condition as well, especially if the vehicle has large wheels or performance-oriented equipment.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is described as sumptuous, with high-end materials, dual-screen instrumentation, and a high-tech appearance, but the interior controls can feel complex at first. Base-trim buyers should pay close attention to feature content, since the advanced safety systems are not standard.
• Powertrain: The AMG GLE 53 Coupe uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with 429 hp and 384 pound-feet of torque, plus EQ Boost mild-hybrid assistance. It is tuned for robust acceleration and pairs with a SpeedShift nine-speed automatic and AMG Performance 4Matic+ AWD.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package adds 15 additional systems related to driver support and collision avoidance. Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and Pre Safe Sound, while Traffic Jam Assist adds steering help to adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.
• Infotainment: MBUX uses dual 12.3-inch screens, including a digital instrument cluster and touchscreen. Wireless smartphone charging is standard, along with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, satellite radio, Mercedes Me connected services, and a Burmester surround-sound audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the test vehicle should have returned 19 mpg in combined driving, and the test result was 18.5 mpg.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 3 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450 4Matic, AMG GLE 53 Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point if you want the most affordable path into the GLE lineup. It is rear-wheel drive, with 4Matic AWD optional, so it suits you if you want the core GLE experience without moving up the price ladder.
• GLE 450 4Matic: This is the best-value choice if you want a middle-ground setup with standard all-wheel drive and a more balanced equipment mix. It sits between the base model and the AMG version, making it the most natural pick for many shoppers.
• AMG GLE 53 Coupe: This is the choice if you want the coupe body style, the most expressive design, and the performance-focused setup described in the test drive. It adds the AMG powertrain, performance brakes, active ride control, and the most upscale presentation, but it also carries the biggest trade-offs in value and practicality.

The safety-package note is simple: if you want every safety system Mercedes offers for this SUV, you need the Driver Assistance Package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,433 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,102, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $40,126 sits slightly below last year's $45,367.

That price decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still draw attention, but you should expect pricing pressure if the vehicle is heavily optioned or in average condition.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE is based on the standard GLE, which gets top safety ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Mercedes equips this model with forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and Pre Safe Sound. The Driver Assistance Package adds 15 more systems related to driver support and collision avoidance, including Traffic Jam Assist, active lane change assist, and active emergency stop assist. The package also brings adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.

One caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you need to check whether a given used example has the right package installed.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It pairs a distinctive SUV-coupe shape with strong technology and a powerful engine.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $38,460, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $40,126 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and technology with multiple powertrain choices.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,401, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $40,126 average.
• It adds a more polished blend of prestige, performance, and practicality.

The bottom line: If you want the coupe styling, strong tech, and a softer market price, the 2022 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling package, the 2023 is the step up to compare.
