Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 10.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,467 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Generally — you’re looking at a 4.25/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE leans into style without giving up its utility roots, and it pairs that distinctive coupe shape with a powerful engine and impressive technology. That makes it especially appealing if you want something more expressive than a conventional SUV.

The trade-offs are clear: the design may divide opinion, advanced safety features are not standard, and the overall package is described as poor value for money. If you’re shopping for a luxury SUV coupe and care more about presence and tech than bargain pricing, it fits that use case well.

Good and great deals account for 36.3% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.25/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE is described as a premium SUV with strong technology and a broad enough appeal to attract buyers who want comfort, performance, and a distinctive body style. Its turbocharged inline-six with EQ Boost is presented as robust and efficient enough for the class, and the powertrain is paired with a performance-oriented AWD system and a well-developed transmission.

The expert coverage also points to refinement in daily driving, with the SUV feeling composed in the city and comfortable on the highway. On the cost side, BMW’s complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years is mentioned as a competitor advantage, which underscores that ownership costs can matter in this segment.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is a complex, high-end SUV coupe, so condition and maintenance history matter more than they would on a simpler mainstream model.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a vehicle history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-mileage examples or vehicles with expensive option packages. Focus on overall condition, because this model’s appeal depends heavily on how well the cabin, technology, and performance hardware have been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is described as sumptuous, with high-end materials, dual-screen instrumentation, and a high-tech appearance, but the interior controls can feel complex at first. Base-trim buyers should pay close attention to which luxury and convenience features are included, since the experience depends heavily on equipment level.
• Powertrain: The turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six makes 429 hp and 384 pound-feet of torque, and EQ Boost adds mild-hybrid assistance for extra power and fuel-saving support. The performance setup also includes a SpeedShift nine-speed automatic and AMG Performance 4Matic+ AWD.
• Safety package: The standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, Pre Safe Sound, and Emergency Call Service. The Driver Assistance Package adds 15 more systems, including Traffic Jam Assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, Active Lane Change Assist, and Active Emergency Stop Assist.
• Infotainment: MBUX uses dual 12.3-inch screens, and standard features include navigation, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Mercedes Me connected services, wireless smartphone charging, and a Burmester surround-sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the test vehicle should return 19 mpg in combined driving, and the test result was 18.5 mpg.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 3 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450 4Matic, AMG GLE 53 Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point if you want the GLE nameplate at the lowest cost, and it’s the trim to watch if you’re trying to keep purchase price down. It makes the most sense for buyers who care more about the GLE’s style and core luxury experience than maximum performance.
• GLE 450 4Matic: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it sits between the base model and the AMG version while adding more capability without jumping all the way to the top end. It should suit you if you want a stronger all-around balance of equipment and price.
• AMG GLE 53 Coupe: This is the performance-focused choice, with the turbocharged inline-six, EQ Boost, AMG tuning, and the most aggressive driving character in the lineup. Choose it if you want the coupe styling plus the strongest performance emphasis.

The Driver Assistance Package is the safety-package upgrade to look for if you want the fullest set of driver aids.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,467 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,116, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $40,393 sits slightly below last year's $45,325.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than just the badge alone.

Because the price range still reaches $45,328, well-kept examples with desirable options should have a better chance of holding value than stripped or heavily worn ones. Strong demand for the coupe body style can also help support pricing if your vehicle presents well.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe is based on the standard GLE, which gets top safety ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Mercedes equips it with forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and Pre Safe Sound. The Emergency Call Service is also included and remains available for as long as you own the vehicle.

If you want the fullest safety setup, look for the Driver Assistance Package. It adds 15 systems related to driver support and collision avoidance, including Traffic Jam Assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, Active Lane Change Assist, and Active Emergency Stop Assist. The package is especially important here because advanced safety features are not standard.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It combines distinctive coupe styling with strong performance and advanced technology.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $38,356, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $40,393 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and technology with a broad range of powertrain choices.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $48,692, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $40,393 average.
• It adds a polished cabin, top-rate technology, and a plug-in hybrid option.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current pricing, strong tech, and distinctive styling, the 2022 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 is the better price-sensitive alternative, while the 2023 makes sense only if you’re willing to pay more for newer-model appeal.
