Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB for Sale near Kentucky

How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB cost?

Prices have softened 11.30% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,197 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB earns 4/5 from users and 7.33/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

It stands out for packing a lot of utility into a compact, boxy shape, with seating for up to seven people and a focus on practicality over style. It also brings the performance, technology, and luxury upgrades you expect from a Mercedes, though the driving character can involve compromises in daily use.

The market shows 38.8% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLB’s practicality and utility support its case for everyday ownership, and the expert evaluation notes that it makes a stronger value argument than many other Mercedes models. The GLB250 is also described as the better daily-driver choice, which matters if you want a version that feels easier to live with over time.

The performance notes point to a model that can be quick and engaging, but the AMG GLB35 also brings firmer ride quality, louder road noise, and some finicky behavior in normal driving. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about comfort and complexity than outright durability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a higher-spec example with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, because the GLB’s appeal depends heavily on how well its premium features, cabin materials, and technology have been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLB250 is the more practical choice for daily use, while the AMG GLB35 adds a more powerful drivetrain, more aggressive styling, and a more performance-focused character. The base GLB250 can be dressed up to resemble the AMG model, but the AMG version has the exclusive vertical grille bars that set it apart.
• Powertrain: Both versions use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The AMG GLB35 adds 302 horsepower, 295 pound-feet of torque, an AMG SpeedShift eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, AMG Performance variable 4Matic AWD, and an AMG Sport Exhaust system.
• Safety package: The optional Driver Assistance Package adds 12 driver-assistance and collision-avoidance technologies, including adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assistance. The test vehicle did not have that package, and it was also missing evasive steering assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, rear cross-traffic warning, and Active Emergency Stop Assist.
• Infotainment: MBUX is standard, and the AMG GLB35 includes a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. All GLB models have Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Mercedes Me connected services, while the Multimedia Package adds navigation with augmented reality.
• Fuel efficiency: The AMG GLB35 is rated at 22 mpg in combined driving, while the GLB 250 4Matic is rated at 25 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB is offered in 2 trim levels: GLB250 and AMG GLB35.

Here's the short version:

• GLB250: This is the better pick if you want the GLB’s core strengths without the AMG model’s firmer ride, louder road noise, and more demanding daily behavior. It’s the trim most aligned with the GLB’s practical mission, and it’s the best-value choice for most shoppers.
• AMG GLB35: Choose this if you want the quicker, more engaging version and you’re willing to accept the tradeoffs in comfort and refinement. It adds the more powerful drivetrain, performance brakes, adaptive damping, and a much more aggressive driving character.

The safety-package note is important: the Driver Assistance Package is optional, and the test vehicle did not have it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to reward comparison shopping.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,197 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,341, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB's resale value?

The current average of $26,343 sits slightly below last year's $29,698.

That price movement suggests the GLB has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be starting from a more favorable price point than buyers did a year ago.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB safe?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB does not have crash-test ratings listed here.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The optional Driver Assistance Package adds 12 driver-assistance and collision-avoidance technologies, including adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assistance. Standard safety equipment includes Active Brake Assist, blind-spot monitoring, Mercedes-Benz emergency call service, rain-sensing wipers, Attention Assist, and Exit Warning Assist.

A key caveat is that the test vehicle lacked the Driver Assistance Package, along with evasive steering assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, rear cross-traffic warning, and Active Emergency Stop Assist. If safety tech matters to you, that package is worth prioritizing.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It combines compact dimensions, seven-passenger seating, and a strong technology score.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,930, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $26,343 average.
• It stands out for its flexible interior layout and optional third row.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of price, inventory, and feature content, the 2022 is the better starting point. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path, especially if you value the GLB’s flexible cabin more than the latest-year pricing.
