Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB for Sale nearColumbus, OH

How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB cost?

Prices have softened 12.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,196 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. It is aimed at practicality first, with a compact, boxy shape, an upscale feel, and available seating for up to seven people. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

That combination makes sense if you want a small luxury SUV that prioritizes utility over style while still delivering Mercedes-Benz luxury and tech. The market also shows 38.8% of listings as good or great deals, which supports the case for shopping carefully.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLB’s practicality-first design and relatively approachable starting price help it make a stronger value case than many Mercedes-Benz models. The expert evaluation also points to a daily-driver-friendly GLB250 as the better fit for most buyers, which suggests the model’s long-term appeal is tied to choosing the right version and avoiding overcomplicated options.

The performance notes also point to a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder setup, with the AMG GLB35 adding more power but also more compromises in everyday use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a firmer, noisier, more finicky version than you expected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has higher mileage or a long option list. Focus on overall condition, because the GLB’s appeal depends heavily on whether it feels well kept and properly equipped.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLB250 and AMG GLB35 differ meaningfully in character, with the AMG version adding more aggressive styling and a more performance-focused setup. Base-trim equipment gaps matter here, especially if you want the richer feature content that makes the GLB feel more premium.
• Powertrain: Both versions use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, but the AMG GLB35 is tuned for much stronger output and a more performance-oriented driving experience. The GLB250 is the better daily-driver choice if you want a calmer, more accessible setup.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package adds 12 driver-assistance and collision-avoidance technologies, including adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assistance. Some useful features are missing without it, so trim and option content matter a lot.
• Infotainment: The GLB uses Mercedes-Benz User Experience with standard Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, plus a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen in AMG GLB35 form. Wireless smartphone charging and navigation with augmented reality are available with additional packages.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLB250 4Matic is rated at 25 mpg combined, while the AMG GLB35 is rated at 22 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB is offered in 2 trim levels: GLB250 and AMG GLB35.

Here's the short version:

• GLB250: This is the best-value choice for most used buyers because it delivers the GLB’s practical packaging, approachable pricing, and easier everyday drivability. It is the trim to target if you want the core GLB experience without the AMG model’s firmer ride and more demanding personality.
• AMG GLB35: Choose this if you want the most powerful and most engaging GLB, especially if you care about sharper acceleration and a more performance-focused feel. It suits you best if you are willing to trade comfort and simplicity for speed and character.

The safety package is a major consideration, and the Driver Assistance Package is worth seeking out if you want the GLB’s most useful driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop with some patience but not assume every listing is a bargain.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,196 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,541, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB's resale value?

The current average of $25,541 sits slightly below last year's $29,336.

That price decline suggests the GLB has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later. The model’s practical packaging and premium badge should help maintain interest, especially among shoppers who want a compact luxury SUV with available seven-passenger seating.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB safe?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB does not have crash-test ratings listed in the provided data.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The GLB includes Active Brake Assist, blind-spot monitoring, Mercedes-Benz emergency call service, rain-sensing wipers, Attention Assist, and Exit Warning Assist as standard equipment. The optional Driver Assistance Package adds 12 driver-assistance and collision-avoidance technologies, including adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assistance.

A notable shortcoming is that the test vehicle lacked several useful safety features, including evasive steering assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, rear cross-traffic warning, and Active Emergency Stop Assist. If safety tech matters to you, that package is worth prioritizing.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 stands out for its strong technology score and practical, seven-passenger packaging.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,667, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $25,541 average.
• It offers a flexible interior layout with an optional third row.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall shopping environment and the more current model-year pricing context, the 2022 is the better primary target. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the GLB’s practical packaging.
