Used 2022 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearOrlando, FL

How much does the 2022 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 2.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,085 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2022 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.7/5 model with an expert rating of 8/10. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its performance, stylish design, and spacious interior, and many also like the quiet ride and powerful engine. In use-case terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want a small crossover that feels more upscale than the norm and still stays engaging to drive.

The main trade-offs are the underwhelming base engine and the confusing infotainment system. Even so, the market still shows 32.9% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise centered on performance and a quiet, comfortable ride that many buyers can count on over time.

The expert evaluation reinforces that impression with language about a refined ride and a vehicle that feels solid and well put together. The CX-30 also comes with a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, which adds some peace of mind for used buyers.

For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about core durability and more about living with the infotainment and visibility complaints that some owners mention.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mazda CX-30?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on electronics, visibility, and any signs of uneven wear or prior bodywork. It also helps to test the infotainment system yourself, since that is one of the most commonly criticized parts of the ownership experience.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2.5 S comes with standard all-wheel drive, an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an eight-speaker stereo, while higher trims add features like synthetic leather, a power sunroof, heated front seats, a power rear liftgate, full leather upholstery, and a head-up display. The base trim is the one most likely to feel light on convenience features.
• Powertrain: The base engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque, while the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder raises output to 227 hp and 310 lb-ft on 87 octane, or 250 hp and 320 lb-ft on 93 octane. The turbo adds stronger acceleration, while the base engine is the one most often described as underwhelming.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision avoidance, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, rain-sensing wipers, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims can add blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic-sign recognition, front-and-rear parking sensors, and reverse automatic emergency braking.
• Infotainment: The screen is 8.8 inches, and it supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is controlled by a rotary dial rather than touch input, and the system does not have OTA capability mentioned here.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine returns 24 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, while the turbo engine returns 22 mpg city and 30 mpg highway.

Which 2022 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 7 trim levels: 2.5 S, 2.5 S Select, 2.5 S Preferred, 2.5 S Premium, Turbo, Turbo Premium, and Turbo Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5 S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you standard all-wheel drive, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an 8.8-inch screen, and a strong safety baseline. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the CX-30 without giving up the core appeal.
• 2.5 S Select: This adds useful everyday upgrades like dual-zone automatic climate control, rear vents, synthetic leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and roof rails. It looks like the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds comfort and convenience without jumping too far in price.
• 2.5 S Preferred: This trim brings a power sunroof, an eight-way power driver’s seat, heated front seats, and mirrors that tilt down in reverse. Choose it if you want a more premium daily-driver feel.
• 2.5 S Premium: This one adds a power rear liftgate, paddle shifters, full leather upholstery, a head-up display, adaptive headlights, and SiriusXM. It is the right pick if you want the most upscale non-turbo experience.
• Turbo: This is the performance-oriented choice, with the upgraded turbocharged engine and stronger acceleration. Pick it if driving enjoyment matters more than staying near the lower trims.
• Turbo Premium: This trim layers in more of the upscale equipment from the higher 2.5 S trims while keeping the turbo powertrain. It suits you if you want both extra punch and more comfort.
• Turbo Premium Plus: This is the most fully equipped version, adding front-and-rear parking sensors and additional driver-assistance features. It is the best fit if you want the most complete feature set.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the higher trims add more driver-assistance features and parking aids.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mazda CX-30?

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,085 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.54% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $22,077 sits slightly below last year's $22,652.

That tells you the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may temper short-term resale upside. If you plan to sell later, the softer pricing trend suggests you should focus on buying well and keeping the vehicle in strong condition.

The CX-30’s broad appeal helps support future demand, especially because shoppers respond well to its upscale cabin, standard safety features, and engaging driving character. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines upscale design with standard safety and a refined ride.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,093, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $22,077 average.
• It emphasizes premium feel and engaging driving at a lower price.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,348, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $22,077 average.
• It adds a more powerful base engine and improved side-impact protection.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, safety, and upscale feel, the 2022 is the primary pick. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2021 is the better value path, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer updates and can stretch your budget.
