Used 2020 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearOrlando, FL

How much does the 2020 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 3.66% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 576 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Mazda CX-30 earns a 4.6/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its stylish design, interior quality, and performance, and they also describe it as a great value in its class. The CX-30’s use of a Mazda3-based platform gives it a polished feel, while its higher ride height adds easier entry and exit plus extra ground clearance for snowstorms and light-difficulty trails. The main trade-offs are that it gives up some of the Mazda3’s sharper driving character and some rivals offer features this one skips.

With 32.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with buyers repeatedly highlighting the CX-30’s quality feel and value over time. The expert evaluation also emphasizes refinement and sophistication, which supports the impression that this is a well-sorted small SUV rather than a fragile one. Mazda’s ownership value pitch is more about substance than freebies, so you should still budget for normal maintenance and inspect any used example carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Mazda CX-30?

At 72.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on bodywork quality, tire wear, suspension condition, and evidence of prior repairs, since those are the kinds of issues that can hide behind a clean-looking listing. It also helps to compare trim equipment closely so you know whether the features you want are actually present.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base version is the most stripped-down choice, while Select adds dark tinted rear privacy glass, 18-inch wheels, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic warning. Preferred and Premium add more upscale equipment, and Premium brings the most complete feature set.
• Powertrain: The CX-30 uses a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 186 horsepower and a 6-speed sport automatic transmission. AWD is optional, and the AWD system includes off-road traction assist.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, a reversing camera, driver monitoring, automatic high-beam LED headlights, rain-sensing automatic wipers, and 911 automatic emergency notification. Select adds blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning, while Premium adds adaptive front lights.
• Infotainment: The CX-30 uses an 8.8-inch display, and it does not use a touchscreen. Bluetooth calling and music streaming, text messaging support, HD Radio, Pandora, and Mazda Connected Services are standard, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require Select trim. Satellite radio is standard on Preferred and Premium, and Premium also offers a 12-speaker Bose system and a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert evaluation cites 27 mpg in combined driving for the AWD model.

Which 2020 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 3 trim levels: Select, Preferred, Premium.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the best-value trim because it adds the biggest everyday upgrades over the base version, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, tinted rear privacy glass, and 18-inch wheels.
• Preferred: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and are willing to pay for additional comfort and convenience equipment beyond Select.
• Premium: This is the right pick if you want the most complete CX-30 experience, including the head-up display, Bose audio, and adaptive front lights.

Premium trim is the one tied to the best IIHS result because it has the best headlights.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mazda CX-30?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 576 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,990, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $18,492 sits slightly below last year's $19,195.

That softer pricing suggests the CX-30 has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help keep demand healthy if you decide to sell later. A lower entry price can also make it easier for your listing to stand out against newer alternatives. Because this model still has strong owner satisfaction, it should remain appealing to shoppers who value style, safety, and refinement.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The 2020 Mazda CX-30 earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS and five-star ratings in every crash test from NHTSA, along with a four-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every CX-30 comes with adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, a reversing camera, driver monitoring, automatic high-beam LED headlights, rain-sensing automatic wipers, and 911 automatic emergency notification. Select trim adds blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning, while Premium adds adaptive front lights. One caveat is that the standard headlights keep non-Premium versions from earning the best IIHS result.

Should I buy a 2020 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It pairs extra ground clearance and easier entry with strong safety ratings.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,093, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,492 average.
• It adds a more premium-feeling turbocharged direction and broader luxury-brand appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2020 is the smarter buy because it already delivers strong safety, good owner satisfaction, and a lower average price. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer-feeling premium direction, the 2021 is the path to consider.
