The cabin quality and comfort come through as recurring strengths, and the model’s distinctive styling helps it stand apart if you want a premium three-row SUV with a more upscale personality. The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with repeated praise for comfort, luxury, and a high-quality interior. That kind of response usually suggests the ownership experience is satisfying over time, especially when the vehicle’s strengths are the features you’ll live with every day. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the overall ownership experience and more about making sure the specific example you choose has been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm that the vehicle’s condition matches the seller’s description. Pay close attention to signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and any evidence that the luxury features or electronics have not been maintained well. A careful inspection matters most on a model where comfort, technology, and interior quality are central to the ownership experience.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Lincoln Aviator?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,333 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.48% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,153, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $35,153 sits slightly below last year's $41,591.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to sell soon. If you’re thinking about resale, the current pricing environment means your future return will depend heavily on how well you buy, how clean the vehicle’s history is, and how desirable the specific configuration remains. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who want a luxury three-row SUV with a refined cabin and strong feature content.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $30,191, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $35,153 average.
• It offers a spacious cabin with a soft ride and strong power.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $42,295, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $35,153 average.
• It leans harder into quiet, comfort-focused luxury.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around starting point if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, broad inventory, and high owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-year alternative, the 2023 is the premium path.
