Used 2022 INFINITI QX80 for Sale nearTampa, FL

How much does the 2022 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 9.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 693 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Generally — the 2022 INFINITI QX80 earns 4.33/5 from users and 7.17/10 from experts. The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Cost effectiveness.

It fits best if you want a full-size luxury SUV with a meaningful tech refresh, standard advanced safety features, and strong value for the segment. The 12.3-inch display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, wireless charging, and Bose audio system make it feel more current, while the large size and premium positioning still define the experience.

The main trade-offs are the cramped third row and an interior that trails the class benchmark. Those drawbacks matter most if you need maximum passenger space or the most modern cabin in the segment.

Good and great deals: 42.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The QX80’s appeal comes from its sturdy, body-on-frame character and its straightforward V8 powertrain, which the expert review describes as robust and smooth. That same review also notes seamless shifting and strong towing capability, both of which support the case for durable everyday use.

On the ownership side, the model’s value proposition is helped by its strong equipment content for the money. That can make long-term ownership feel easier to justify if you want a large luxury SUV without paying top-tier luxury pricing.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that age-related wear can show up in the cabin and in expensive-to-maintain luxury features, so condition matters a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the interior, electronics, and any signs of heavy family or towing use. Given the model’s age and luxury positioning, condition can vary a lot from one example to the next.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Luxe brings the core tech and safety content, while Premium Select adds exterior upgrades and Sensory adds the most upscale cabin equipment. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more if you care about the richest interior presentation.
• Powertrain: The QX80 uses a 400-horsepower, 5.6-liter V8 with 413 lb-ft of torque and a seven-speed automatic transmission. It delivers strong, smooth power, but it is thirsty and recommends premium fuel.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with lane-departure prevention, forward-collision warning, backup collision intervention, a smart rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, driver attention alert, front knee airbags, and second-row outboard seat belt pre-tensioners. ProPilot Assist is not included.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch Infiniti InTouch display with wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, navigation with lane guidance, voice recognition, and connected services. A wireless smartphone charger and a 13-speaker Bose system are standard, while Sensory gets a 17-speaker Bose Performance Series setup.
• Fuel efficiency: The QX80 returns 14 mpg city, 20 highway, and 16 combined in 2WD form, or 13/19/15 mpg with 4WD.

Which 2022 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2022 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 3 trim levels: Luxe, Premium Select, and Sensory.

Here's the short version:

• Luxe: This is the best-value choice if you want the QX80’s core strengths without paying for extras you may not need. You still get the V8, the 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, Bose audio, and the standard safety suite.
• Premium Select: This trim adds 22-inch dark chrome wheels and darker exterior accents, so it makes sense if you want a more dressed-up look without jumping to the top grade.
• Sensory: This is the pick if you want the most upscale cabin, with quilted semi-aniline leather, advanced climate control, heated and cooled front seats, the 17-speaker Bose system, and the body motion-control system.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but ProPilot Assist is not available on any trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 INFINITI QX80?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with solid deal availability and a softer price trend than last year.

• Deal availability: 42.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 693 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.59% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,121, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $36,121 sits slightly below last year's $39,953.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can be good news if you are buying now but less favorable if you plan to sell soon. A softer price environment can mean more competition from similar listings, so future sellers may need to price carefully and present their vehicle well.

The QX80’s strong equipment list and luxury positioning can still help it hold attention among shoppers who want a large premium SUV. If your example is clean, well maintained, and lightly worn, it should be easier to market than one with visible wear or a rough history.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 INFINITI QX80 safe?

The 2022 Infiniti QX80 earns three-star ratings for rollover resistance from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with lane-departure prevention, forward-collision warning, backup collision intervention, a smart rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, driver attention alert, front knee airbags, and second-row outboard seat belt pre-tensioners.

One important caveat is that ProPilot Assist is not available, so you do not get the more advanced driver-assistance setup found in some newer rivals.

Should I buy a 2022 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 42.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 adds a widescreen 12.3-inch display with wireless Apple CarPlay and a broader tech refresh.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $28,570, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $36,121 average.
• It emphasizes old-school toughness and available low-range four-wheel drive.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the newer tech package, stronger standard equipment, and a better overall shopping environment. If your priority is spending less up front and you value the older rugged formula, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path.
