Used 2022 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearMemphis, TN

How much does the 2022 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 13.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,266 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Hyundai Palisade earns a 4.59/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, luxury features, smooth ride, and family-friendly safety and technology. The Palisade’s quiet cabin and roomy third row also line up well with shoppers who want a polished three-row SUV for everyday family use.

The main trade-offs are its unintuitive technology and sluggish touchscreen response, which can make the interface feel less seamless than the rest of the vehicle. Even so, it fits buyers who value comfort, space, and a well-equipped mainstream family hauler with a refined presentation.

With 38.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.59/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers’ feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise centered on the Palisade’s comfort, spaciousness, and overall family usefulness. The expert evaluation also emphasizes a strong warranty package and complimentary maintenance, which can help reduce early ownership friction.

The Palisade comes with three years/36,000 miles of complimentary maintenance, plus a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. For used buyers, that combination helps lower long-term ownership risk, especially if you choose a well-maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on cabin electronics, touchscreen behavior, and overall condition, since the Palisade’s tech can be a pain point. It also makes sense to compare trim equipment closely, because feature content changes meaningfully as you move up the lineup.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE is well-equipped, while the upper trims add more luxury-oriented equipment and a more premium feel. The Limited and Calligraphy stand out for their larger display, upgraded audio, surround-view camera, head-up display, and digital instrument cluster, while the SE and SEL use a smaller screen and simpler gauge setup.
• Powertrain: The Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with direct gasoline injection and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It is offered with front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive, and the V6 is tuned for smooth, family-friendly power rather than class-leading efficiency.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-following assist, safe exit assist, and trailer sway control. Forward-looking parking sensors, ultrasonic rear occupant alert, and Highway Driving Assist are optional on SEL and standard on Limited and Calligraphy.
• Infotainment: The standard screen is 8 inches on SE and SEL, while Limited and Calligraphy get a 10.25-inch display. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included, and the upper trims add Blue Link connected services, surround-view monitoring, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: FWD models are rated at up to 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway/22 mpg combined, while AWD models are rated at 19 mpg city/24 mpg highway/21 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 4 trim levels: SE, SEL, Limited, Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the value play if you want the Palisade’s core strengths without paying for extras. It already gives you the roomy three-row layout, strong safety equipment, and the polished design that make this SUV appealing.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds meaningful convenience and tech upgrades without jumping into luxury pricing. It’s the sweet spot if you want more comfort and features while staying relatively budget-conscious.
• Limited: Choose this if you want the more upscale experience, including the larger touchscreen, premium audio, surround-view camera, head-up display, and digital cluster. It suits you if you want the Palisade to feel closer to near-luxury.
• Calligraphy: This is the top choice if you want the most premium version of the Palisade. It builds on the Limited with the most upscale presentation and equipment, making it the right pick if you want the flagship feel.

Safety-package note: forward-looking parking sensors, ultrasonic rear occupant alert, and Highway Driving Assist are optional on SEL and standard on Limited and Calligraphy.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $25,770 sits slightly below last year's $29,849.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who paid closer to last year’s higher average. Strong condition and desirable equipment should matter even more in a market where shoppers have plenty of listings to compare.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.59/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade is a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS and earns five-star ratings from NHTSA for both FWD and AWD models.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-following assist, safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, and trailer sway control. Passive protection is also extensive, with seven airbags and a broad set of structural and restraint features.

A few advanced features are reserved for higher trims, including forward-looking parking sensors, ultrasonic rear occupant alert, and Highway Driving Assist on SEL and above, with standard availability on Limited and Calligraphy. The Palisade’s safety reputation is a major strength, and the IIHS top rating reinforces that.

Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.
